“Our small gathering on the 6th of December was heavenly. This young lady was sweating and smiling so I had to photo her. The overall experience was great with Service and the Atmosphere was breath taking. The food was exceptional except the desserts were a little dis tasteful, but, I had eaten so much it could be my palate. This is one of the most pleasant experiences that I have been a part of in 2025. Please keep up the momentum. Happy Holidays.“

“My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. The service, and my waiter was a 10 .plus“

“Beer was good, but on 10/04 I took a hefty fall when one of their patio chairs gave out beneath me. I experienced the darkest ego death of my life. The chair buckled like it knew I deserved it. Waitresses were super kind and kept checking on me seriously, 10/10 for empathy. Very scary. RIP my dignity.“

“This might be the coolest place known to mankind. The ambiance is like no other. They do it their way and if that suits you than this is the spot . The food was excellent. The Ka'mana Wa'na Lei'ya burger was over the top and the pineapple jalapeno jelly was bomb. They bring you a lot of napkins up front and I needed them. But the star of the show was my server Lex. She is the Shohei Ohtani (sorry Braves fan) of the downtown restaurant scene. She was super pleasant with a great smile and absolutely nailed every service point. I asked that she bring me a second beer without even asking when my first ran low. Sure a shit, there it was. She recommended the Muthacluckin' Chicken Rolls and killed it. Lex checked on me just enough and helped me with some official Vortex merch. How about a standing ovation for whoever is responsible for having her on staff. All said, if you love delicious food, great service and ambiance like no other - this is your place.“

“Super divey spot. If you don't like the smell of a dive bar and the dark atmosphere this might not be for you. The wings were AMAZING and they were priced extremely well. The bartender was super nice too. Definitely come thru and have some wings and beer sometime. You won't be disappointed.“

“Outside dining is great. Tables aren't cleaned nearly enough or well. You'll enjoy seeing artsy people. Many are friendly. Service isn't wow, but decent. The fish and chip, loved the batter and the tenderness of the fish. I was not pleased with the one small cup of tartar sauce. I had to pay a dollar for it.“

“My first time at this place at the Atlanta airport to which I’m a frequent flyer. The drinks, service and atmosphere were top notch! Tai in particular always made sure my drinks were good and full, my food was hot and even went as far as helping me create a drink that I LOVED! She was beyond amazing and was beyond the expectations that you would think you would get at an airport bar or restaurant. She was always checking on me making sure my water was cold and full!! “This place was an amazing vibe. The design is very artistic. The food is great. Those jerk turkey burgers were great. The wings, fries and fish is good also. The Margaritas we sooo good. The owners Will and Johnathan we very personable along with the waitresses. This is my new spot!!!!!“

“I love Johnny’s hideaway! It’s so fun but the weekends call for busy nights. Lines can get long so ask a bouncer for the evenings table prices to skip the line. If you’re with a group it’s worth it for sure. The food is amazing and the drinks are strong! Music is great and everyone will be dancing so don’t be embarrassed to show off your best moves.

“i had wings before from here and they were ok however tonight i ordered and had it delivered 2 orders of red beans and rice with catfish and not only was the cat fish undercooked but it was old and spoiled. It reeked i could never eat here again. Tje chef had to know that fish was no good.“

“We just got beers while at the airport in Atlanta - other than being philthy expensive they were cold and served with a smile. It took longer to pay the bill than drink the beer - but we had a 4 hour layover that turned into a 6 hour layover - so no biggie.“

“my family and i came friday night and sat in the restaurant around 9:20pm, which was pretty close to the closing time (10pm). luckily, our server was very attentive and friendly! she got us seated right away and was helpful.

the food came out around 9:45pm, but we were able to still eat peacefully and not be rushed. we got the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer; i think it was made with cream cheese and the pita chips were warm!

the salmon was well cooked and flavorful! the broccoli had a somewhat strong garlic taste, but it was still delicious! the mac and cheese was also good, the breadcrumbs gave it a nice touch! my family also enjoyed their dishes!

overall, everything went will and the food tasted good ??️

“This was my first visit . We got there early. The music was great with throwback jams. The food was really enjoyable. The drinks were a little weak but still good. Maybe if I had gone a little later the overall experience would of been better.“

“Next level show by the queens. Aspen, Aqua and the rest of the cast were hilarious, talented and just outstanding all around performers. The queens here work the room, one of the best shows I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot of drag shows. Bartenders and music were on point. Love this venue. 10/10“
