Cafe Bistro provided a great afternoon lunch for me and my teen. While the tomato basil soup was delicious as always, as well as the chicken lemon pesto gnocchi, two things stuck out: 1-they were not prepared to be busy even though it was a Saturday. Nordstrom Bistro Cafe is my all-time favorite in-store restaurant. The food quality is excellent and the service is outstanding. I have come here many times over the years, sometimes just for the food, even without shopping. Today, I had a fabulous crab bisque, followed by a delicious crab, mango, avocado salad. So it's kinda tucked away located on the 2nd floor of Nordstrom in the mall. Somewhat cafeteria style As far as the setup goes. But the food is much better than a cafeteria lol! You have to go in on a top floor of Nordstrom and then you wait in line to order and they bring it to you at your table. While you're sitting there somebody will address you as far as greeting you and seeing if you want anything to drink.
