Cantina Laredo Reviews
I waited 46 minutes for my order. When I asked, there was no explanation as to where it was or an apology. I left hungry as I had to leave to catch my flight
I just had the "privilege" of paying $76.00 for the worst meal I've had in 69 years. the black beans and frijoles and rice tasted dry like it had been sitting all day. the carne asada meat was tough and gristley, the tortillas were store bought and poor quality.. even the margarita was bitter and I could only finish half. something they put on the carne asada tacos was so bitter it brought tears to my eyes. Cantina Laredo is a standard Mexican restaurant located in the airport, across from gate T7. The food is pretty decent and very good for an airport, with quality, generous portions. Specific meals like the steak tacos, steak quesadilla, and French toast are noted as delicious, with the steak quesadilla being big enough for two people. The chips are thin and house made. They offer a solid Old Fashioned and the best Margarita. Service is frequently described as friendly, fast, efficient, and excellent, with staff being very nice and helpful. The restaurant has comfortable booths and plenty of seating with no waiting, and the volume is perfect for quiet work or meetings. However, the wait can sometimes be ridiculous, with potential delays for drinks, food, and the bill. Despite this, many would eat here again and highly recommend it as a perfect spot between flights.
