Drove over an hour to the Atlanta store and purchased a dresser on 12/26. Contacted them on 12/27 because it was missing pieces. They said they would ship them to us. The IKEA Restaurant offers a limited but practical menu, featuring classic Swedish dishes like meatballs, potatoes, and lingonberry jam. While the quality of the food has declined over time, the prices remain affordable, making it a convenient option for a quick bite while browsing the store. The self-service system and simple, affordable choices cater to the setting, providing a quick and efficient dining experience. The restaurant has ample seating, cleanliness, and is kid-friendly, with free parking and wheelchair accessibility.
Recently, customers have enjoyed the veggie hotdog, made from a medley of real veggies and topped with crispy onions and pickled cabbage. There are also meatballs and hot dogs made from plant-based meat. Although some diners have mentioned that the meatballs and potatoes are just okay, the chocolate pie dessert received high praise for its fantastic taste. Customers appreciate the option to substitute mashed potatoes with vegetable choices, and while they may need to add more salt or seasoning to their food, the restaurant remains a reliable choice for a mid-shopping break, whether craving a plate of meatballs or just a snack and coffee.
