It is hard to find good Atlanta food in Centennial Park area if you are at a conference. Kwan's offers something different from the barbecue and burger joints and fast food franchises in the area. Has gyros and burgers to appeal to an American palate, but also bulgogi and bibimbap for those who like Korean or are adventurous.
Tucked away under the Embassy Suites is this gem. I was in town for a trade show but did not want to eat at the vendors in the convention center so I found this place while wandering around the area. Glad I did as it was a tasty and reasonably priced Korean option. The spicy chicken was perfect. Grilled chicken in a gochujang based sauce with just the right amount of heat and a touch of sweet. The combination that I did not know I needed. With two picky kids and two bbq lovers in tow this place hit the spot for everyone. Golgi for the the KBBQ lovers that they enjoyed. Turkey sandwich and soup for the picky ones that they enjoyed and dumplings for all.
