La Bodega Atl Market & Pupuseria is an up and coming spot with an adorable duct off patio and beautiful vegetables growing. The staff is friendly, kind, and welcoming, making customers feel at home. The food is absolutely delicious, with amazing and delicious pupusas. The classic beans and cheese, chorizo, chicken, and breakfast (bacon and eggs) pupusas are all fantastic and flavorful. The coffee is excellent, with cafe con leche being the best in town and Salvadorian coffee being some of the best available. The restaurant focuses on supporting other small businesses. However, the pupusas are on the smaller side, and the price point feels a bit high for the area, with four pupusas and no drink or sides costing about $38. The restaurant could shine with more lunch specials or combo options. Overall, it is a West Side gem with tasty food and friendly vibes, but the cost and portion size may make it more of a special occasion place for a light lunch.
