One of my favorite local spots. Friendly staff. Laid back vibe. Delicious food! Highly recommend the spaghetti and meatballs!
I live in the neighborhood and we tried Motorboat for the first time tonight. Service was outstanding! I ordered takeout, had the Italian Beef sandwich, it is excellent. My wife had the tomato soup and pasta salad and thought both were great. We will be back! Don’t overlook this neat little neighborhood place!!
Amazing local joint with insanely good food (top tier chicken salad, and THE COOKIES?!), cheap drinks, and the inspired decor you didn’t know you needed. This plus an all-star staff? Check em out! 🚤

Motorboat is a cool dive bar located across the street from PCM, serving excellent soul food and solid sandwiches. The food is amazing and delicious; highlights include the hot Hawaiian sandwich, the sloppy joe, the pastrami on rye, the Chicago Italian Beef, the Rachel, and the muffuletta. Meals come with chips or you can substitute for tots. The veggie sandwich with cashew cheese is amazing, and don't skip the African nut stew with a side of buttered breadsticks. The KeelHaul drink is also very good. The service is perfect, accommodating, friendly, and helpful. It is a great place for the best food and experience, a hidden gem of the area with a fun baywatch theme and some free parking.
