My uncle told my mother and I about the place so we decided to go. I can't eat spicy foods and everything I tried was great and flavored just perfect. I got so much on my plate I ate two times on it. My mother and I took my sister and she loved it also. We have decided not to cook for new years so we are hoping they will be opened New Year so we can go there.
This is gotta be one of my favorite southern food joints since moving here. The food is really really amazing the fried pork chops or something. I definitely recommend the peach cobbler is also very delicious. The staff is really really friendly. The restaurant is really really clean inside and outside. I definitely recommend Goolsby’s for anyone coming in the area. Trust me, you will not regret it.
I live in lincolnton. I can’t go to Evans without going to Goolsby’s. I’ve tried it all and it’s great. My favorite meal there is the fried loin, collards, black eyed peas(with some stewed tomatoes in the middle of them. Fried Cornbread. And last but not least…. Some of the best sweet potatoe soufflé you can get. That right there make you slap yourself.
