“My family came in town for the weekend and we got something from there every day. The owner treated me and my family with the utmost respect, the jollof and okra soup was delicious, my family loved the dodo and beans. Its only 1 minute from me I will be there much more often!“
“Went there once with a girl I met on Tinder. The waiter was very attentive and never broke eye contact with me during our meal, even when my date decided to give me a handy J under the table. It was surreal. She was a bit older and had Parkinson's so that was phenomenal as was the food. 10 outta 10 recommend both. And a special thank you for the magical night Edith. Call me boo.“
“I walked in and was greeted with so much love & energy! The young ladies at the front made my day, and answered any questions I had about the food. The owner walked in with the same compassion, and gave me a hug. They don't know how much I needed that! :) But the food was equally heartwarming as the staff. I ordered 1/2 egusi and 1/2 okra soup with pounded yam. Everything was delicious. The soups were not as spicy as I normally like, but luckily they had this delicious pepper sauce that blended perfectly with the dish. If in the area I would come again!“
“After finding an African/ American lounge here in Marietta, I haven’t stopped coming here. I fell in love with the atmosphere, the service and everything this lounge had to offer. Let’s not even talk about the food and drinks. Whew, wonderful and tasty. Come find out yourself . Shout out to Ms. Lisa . Thank “
“Food is amazing! Drinks are delicious! Feels like you have come to visit your auntie and she decided to feed you (in the best way)! It's a nice place but not super fancy - very low key. Great for a chill evening with amazing food and energy.“
“I'm Pregnant And Was Craving Cassava Leaf All Night. I Went To Get Some Lawd Have Mercy It Soo Good And The Portion Size Is Worth Every Dime. Tried FuFu For The First Time And I'm Hooked Thank Y'all I Will Be Back For More ❤️“
“Good. Very good African food I just get turned off by the starfish in the spinach I WISH they did not use starfish Before I knew it was starfish in the spinach -I tore it up! Devoured it in seconds because it is so good! Definitely authentic African food The food is already cooked and they just scoop it out of the silver treys in front of you. You get fufu with your order I buy some for my Kenyan friend and he loves it!“
“Second time ordering Pepper Soup. First time was in person. They asked this Yankee "how hot" can't remember if I took 50 or 75 %. Today I ordered 100% online. Pepper soup hot as the Sun. So delicious though. Worth the pain. Trying to treat a lingering cold. Hope it works. Interior too dark for me.“
“This is by far my favorite choice for African food in Atlanta. I usually order take out as the establishment itself does not offer much seating space and is a little less desirable to the eye. However, this is an example of not judging a book by its cover because the food is delicious!“
“I ordered Eru & fufu, okra soup and Jollof rice. The eru was so good ? , I enjoyed the jollof rice & goat meat.My only complaint will be the okra that didn’t tasted fresh. They gave me a bowl of pepper & tomatoes mixed on the side to go with all my dishes. I recommend and definitely will be going back.“
“An acquaintance recommended the jollof rice, and so I stopped in to try it (with oxtail and plantain). The portion sizes were to my liking, the staff were accommodating, and the interior is really nice. I was very pleased with my takeout order and will return. Next time though, I think I’ll choose to dine in to better enjoy the ambiance.“
“he service is friendly and attentive. I had to ask what some of the dishes were and the woman who waited on me was very patient in explaining what dishes were made of, what was in the dishes and even right down to explaining how they make the dish. And the food was exceptional. And the servings were HUGE and the prices were great. Awesome place. Will definitely return“
“I want to leave an honest review. I visited this place for the first time yesterday. --- The jollof rice and plantains were AMAZING however the chicken didn't taste seasoned. It did pair well with the rest of the dish but was bland by itself. The dish seemed fresh and came out hot. I liked that. --- The young cashier was extremely nice, attentive and professional. --- I understand renovations are taking place however it seemed too dim for it to be 3 PM. I also noticed rice on the floor and things that should've been swept up.: This place is very affordable and they serve nice size portions. It was cheaper ordering in the store than online. I liked how affordable this restaurant is.“
“Went here with my husband and we are pleased with the customer service. The food is authentic and fresh. We love the egusi soup and jollof rice. The owner is always pleasant and makes you feel welcome and comfortable. It's somewhere you should check out.“
