Savage Pizza (Avondale Estates)

I've come to this place several times.. good customer service. Both pizza and salad were tasty. There was some cheese missing on a few parts but it didn't affect the way the pizza taste.

Our go-to pizza place when we just want something good without over-thinking it. Great quality at a reasonable price. Savage Pizza has creative signature pies-- we try to pick something new each time! The crust is not too thick or thin. It's crispy and doesn't dominate the flavor of the pizza.

Their caesar salad is a great side. It's always so fresh and crisp!

Shout out to the staff-- they're so welcoming each time.

This is a very nostalgic, traditional pizza shop. It was fun to see the arcade games from the 90s and see so many comic book visuals around the shop. The food was decent - though not especially unique. If feeding more than a few people, it's hard to select this over other takeout spots. That said, it's good that they have a variety of foods like salad and calzones. Staff is friendly and courteous, but as a sit-down place, the ambiance could be slightly improved by cleaning tables quicker and not storing unused pizza boxes near the tables. Compared to most pizza shops, this is a good one for a slice of Avondale Estates.

Kid-friendliness: Arcade games and comic themed walls.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to entrance with no step up. Movable tables to easily dine as needed.

Im from Wisconsin, so good quality cheese is a must. The cheese was good! The pizza was prepared well and was Very delicious! They have gluten free crust. I recommend!!

Staff are informative and cool. Pizza was delicious. I was not in the pizza place I intended to be, yet it was perfect and I'll certainly return.

Parking: Parking is adequate but limited.

Kid-friendliness: Very Kid friendly. There are video games and graphic novels for kids and adults.

Tasty and unique. A good variety, filling, and satisfying. Reasonably priced, we had 2 small (10’) pizzas and it came to around 27 dollars.

I wasn’t sure about this place seeing that it always looks empty. However, I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. The pizza was fresh and it was hot and delicious.

Drove past this place several times and the reviews were excellent so decided to try it out. We ordered a Mediterranean pizza. I’ve had a lot of mediocre pizza in my time but unfortunately this wouldn’t even qualify. Tasteless would be the best thing that I could say about it. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but I’ll never know. Would never waste my money there again.

September 21, 2024: It was my 1st time visiting. The pizzas were thoroughly enjoyed. I called ahead, and the man who answered was very pleasant. I will return.

Tonight was my first time trying this spot and I must say, it definitely did not disappoint! This place is ducked off of the main highway. There is nice amount of space for parking. The restaurant on the inside is very clean, cozy, and it has a marvel/DC theme. The patio is very spacious! From the the time me and my finance placed our order until the time checked out, the staff was extremely nice and helpful! We ordered the "The Southern Cue" pizza! It was delicious! I apologize, I didn't get a pic of the pizza! It was good to actually try a different pizza spot than from your ordinary pizza places! We definitely will be back! I would recommend 10/10.

I ordered a pizza my pizza was $22 only to find out that DoorDash fraudulently took 96.00 out my account out all days I didn’t lock my card. Watch they tried my fiancés as well since his card is attached to DoorDash but wasn’t successful Chase was on there shit.

I love how the toppings are under the cheese. Very unique. Over all I like it .
