“We stopped in on a whim. Never had Nigerian food. Didn't get a heavy meal, but the chicken skewers, plantains and soup were delicious. The Decor is beautiful and Chef Greg was so gracious.“

“I found this place by accident when I was searching for something to eat. It’s hard to find an authentic African restaurant but I had to try that fish because I had it before somewhere else. Well I can honestly said The food exceeds my expectations…. It was amazing all the flavors were on point. It has a lil kick to it but not at all spicy. The plantain tastes like a dessert, very succulent . The only bad thing I can say is that I live too far but I will definitely be back!“

“Started going here last week and have been three times since last week lol. This low-key might be one of my pregame spots as the ambience is so beautiful and subtle inside, grateful for a date night but also cool enough for a man to just have a drink and watch the games while listening to some soothing R&B music over a really good hot plate of food and a marvelous Bartender (CeCe) who makes some really satiating drinks. I felt very welcoming, coming in my first day to watch the Joe versus battle. Customer service is always a big stickler for me and the way Cece and her team looked after me didn’t go unnoticed as I’m apparently a return customer lol“

“While I'm usually quite particular, I must say the suya and jollof rice were delightful. The service was commendable, the waitresses were bad AF and met all my expectations surprisingly. The hookah surpassed my expectations with its unexpectedly smooth flavor. If you're in Atlanta, it's definitely worth a visit. The ambiance is sexy, and the music creates a great vibe. I'd rate it 10/10.“

“Stopped by on my way to Birmingham to grab some food. On entering, they were warm and friendly. Food was amazing!!!!
I got my mom the amala and ewedu. She said she’s gotta take a trip there because it was so good even after some hours sitting in my car. The Afang and pounded yam was so delicious too. The plantain and eggs were great too. My new spot when I come back to the area .“

“African Grill Duluth has become my go to spot whenever I don’t feel like cooking our I’m craving someone else’s food. I have tried the amala w/ewedu, jollof rice, ogbonno, beans and plantain - everything was a hit. I have only done delivery but any time I have called asking question about the menu the host has always been polite and patient. The food is consistent which is really hard for African restaurant. I haven’t been there in person so I can’t comment on the atmosphere but the food is great.“

“I came here to say for the first time today. This place is great. This is the the quickest I have ever received African food 🤣 IFYKYK. Usually I’m hesitant to order any African food from anywhere because of the wait but this time, my food was ready in a reasonable time. I had my toddler with me too so that’s how quick the wait was. I was not pressed and she made my order before any screaming started. 🤣 The owner/chef is really kind. Food was fresh too. Jallof was great. I usually like Jasmine rice but this is the first time I have to give parboil its praise! I will definitely be coming back! I think I’ve found my new spot. No one asked me to post this review just so you guys know I’m legitimately giving this place 5 stars. This is coming from the heart.“
