Iman West African Cuisine is described as an impressive space that is warm and wholesome, a hidden gem with an amazing vibe and a clean environment. The staff is friendly, kind, attentive, and efficient, with the chef even offering a demonstration on how to eat fufu. The food is amazing, with all the flavors on point. Menu items mentioned include okra soup with pounded yam, chin chin, plantain that is nicely cooked and tastes like a dessert, very succulent, and rice that is shelly. The fish exceeds expectations, with a lil kick to it but not at all spicy. The palmnut soup is rich, bold, deeply flavorful, and unforgettable, made with love you can taste in every spoonful. It is comfort, culture, and pure African goodness. The food travels well and stays hot. This is a place to run, not walk to, even though the sign isn’t on the building yet at the new location. Guests will definitely be coming back.
