“I have never been so enchanted by a croissant in my life. My daughter took me on an early Mother’s Day food crawl in Duluth. The first place on her itinerary was GA French Bakery. I saw the Pistachio Croissant and thought that I would give it a go. I was nothing short of amazed at the flavor in this delicate creation. After we left, I raved and raved about them, so my daughter decided to go back an hour later and buy 3 more. Needless to say, I have the best daughter in the world! “The person working there was very kind and welcoming, however the donuts themselves don't taste that good, at least to me. They were very greasy in comparison to other mochi donuts, and the wafers on top of the one's with wafers, were stale. The grease taste was overpowering and made me nauseous, but they gave me a free donut, so I can't complain too much. I paid $12.51 for 4, not including the extra donut. Decent price, but unfortunately they weren't very tasty. Still gonna give 4 stars because they were kind.“

“I was in a search of Napoleon cake and was recommended this store. And I was so glad I went there. At first I was surprised how small the store is. Looks pretty stuffed with shelves. But when you start looking around - there do have many different items. And most importantly they have fresh baked bread and cakes, our famous salads “vinegret” and “shuba”, variety of “pirojki”, borsch and solyanka, golubcy, and more and more and more. I bought everything to try and didn’t regret a bit! Even though I make my own borsch and golubcy I liked theirs too. Shuba was amazing! Mushroom salad was something new and different, good a spread on bread or with boiled egg. Nice eggplant salad with their fresh bake bread - it was delicious! Napoleon was exactly how I make it at home. It was a good choice to get it there. Besides all of listed above they have a great selection of tea, salami, cheeses, candy and other sweets.
