“I like the food, but the(entree) small-sized portion isn't worth five dollars. I know some would say don't eat there, but that's not the point. The point is all establishments are raising prices and cutting the portion sizes.“
“The restaurant was clean, and we were seated right away. Service was fast, and the wait staff were very attentive. I was slightly disappointed in the lunch menu, as it was your typical chinese menu entrees. They did have an extensive sushi menu, and the dinner menu offered a variety of different items. The food was good, portion sizes were average. Overall, not an exceptional experience, just average across the board.“

“I’ve been going to Hong Kong Kitchen since I moved to Monroe, and each and every time I come here I’m never disappointed. The food is always fresh and the amount they give is always more than enough. I will continue to come here for as long as they are open.“

“I love the family owned feel of this place. The staff are always nice and the food is consistently good. I saw a younger employee that works here celebrate his birthday with his entire family here. To me, that speaks volumes about the owners if an employee wants to celebrate their birthday at their workplace. Bravo!“

“Small, unassuming Chinese restaurant located on Atl Hwy near the train tracks in Statham. Don't let the appearance fool you. Our meals were delicious, affordable, and plentiful. What more could you ask for? Their Mongolian Beef was the best I've had in Athens so far and I had enough left over for lunch the next day. My husband and daughter thoroughly enjoyed their Chicken and Broccoli and Shrimp and Broccoli as well as the Crab Rangoon we had as an appetizer. Service was excellent and we will definitely come back.“

“Just recently, Amy—who is full of energy and kindness—took over China Wok right next door. For our latest event, we ordered chicken wings and sweet & sour chicken for about 30 people, and the response was incredible! Everyone loved the food and kept asking, “Where did you get this from?” We proudly told them, “Our next-door neighbor, China Wok!”
Our team agreed it was the best they’ve tasted, and I have to say—the sweet & sour chicken was absolutely outstanding. Thanks to their delicious food, our event was a big success!!
We’re so happy to have China Wok as our neighbor, and we wish Amy nothing but success. If you’re in the area, we highly recommend stopping by and tasting it for yourself—you won’t be disappointed! 🥢🍗“

“The dinner buffet isn't as huge as some, but at less than $10 with tax, it's quite reasonable. I was surprised and pleased to see egg foo young on it! This eatery has been here at least fifteen years -- that's when I bought my house in Auburn -- so clearly they are doing everything right. Staff was friendly on-site, too.“

“Just moved to the area. I ordered through Uber Eats....didn't realize the distance until after placing the order. Regardless of the distance(over 30 min away), the food was still fresh and warm. I've had a decent amount of Chinese food in my lifetime. Loved their Wonton soup. Its the traditional base of wonton with shrimp and other veggies added. Well worth the cost. I also ordered Potstickets and Chicken Lo Mein. Both were freshly made. Working in the restaurant industry, I know they prep certain items ahead of time to have on hand throughout the day. Both were made this morning. The Lo Mein couldve had a little more flavor but adding soy sauce helped. I personally like ALOT of flavor. The to go container was packed full as well. Reading other reviews saying they're overpriced is NOT accurate!!! I got soup, appetizer, and a huge amount of food for $23. It was lunchtime. I'm sure prices go up slightly for dinner. Still worth it.“

“Ten miles south of I-85, down winding Georgia State Route 53 is an almost sordid-looking local Chinese restaurant in Winder. But looks can be deceiving, and first impressions are not always the most accurate. King Buffet’s shabby, secondhand-car-dealership-like façade belies its straightforwardly toothsome Chinese food inside, and at second-take-inducing cut-rate prices. While the no-frills menu offers run-of-the-mill dishes and the small buffet features all the popular items one would expect at larger-scale buffets, it is the vibrancy in its flavours that gives this restaurant distinction. The savoriness of the vegetable lomein is worthy of mention, and the Snow Shrimp is an interesting take on Coconut Shrimp. Even the stir-fried green beans laden with umami is noteworthy. Notable too are the remarkably low prices of both the buffet and menu items; it’s a small wonder this mom-and-pop restaurant has managed to somehow stave off inflation. Do not be put off by its looks; King Buffet is simple Chinese food done well and affordably priced.“

“Food is delicious, fresh, and hot. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It was some of the best Chinese restaurants I've EVER been to. I would easily compare them to some of the best restaurants in Atlanta. Their food can't be beat. We will be recommending this place to EVERYONE. You will be doing a disservice to yourself if you don't try this place. My wallet still has money left in it!“

“My wife and I have been eating here since the day they opened. It is family owned and family run. Food was so so when it first opened. But the food improved all the time to where it’s excellent now. Service is great and have they messed up our order. Thank you for the good food and great service.“
