“My husband and I had such a peaceful night here at Home Restaurant! The service was OUTSTANDING, thanks to Heather. She did amazing and had such great customer service! The food was delicious ? We both got the ribeye with the garlic butter, superb My side was brussel sprouts with a cream sauce, amazing!!!! My husband got mashed potatoes that tasted like grandma made them. If you wanna good steak in Jasper, GA Home Restaurant is the place! Oh, the desert, yall, we had some kind of apple crisp with some kind of granola on it and ice cream with caramel drizzled over all of it..? Needles to say I can't wait to go back!”

“My husband and I decided to do a getaway in Big Canoe. I had gears about Cairn View on Tiktok and Instagram. This place was a breath of fresh air. The owners Brent and Debbie are so warm and welcoming. The service was immeasurable. We did the sweet wines tasting and the wine was PHENOMENAL. We also had the BBQ pork sliders and they were delicious. I can't wait to return!”

“Ordered both a meat pizza and a Supreme. They were both great.Quality ingredients, local cheese great on site sauce. I really liked how the crust wasn't greasy, but crispy. I love that in a pizza.My order was ready in 20 min despite me just walking in the door. It's a typical small restaurant in a out of the way place. Look up their number and order ahead.”

“This is the nicest huddle house I've ever visited. All of the staff were friendly. And they were really friendly. Not that fake friendly that you get in some places. You could tell these people really wanted to make you happy. The food was really good and was served fast. My vegetarian son actually was able to eat there easily. We travel a lot and have gone to many huddle houses. Like I said, this one was The best.”

“I tried the cupcakes at a baby shower which is when I learned about this local jem. I have ordered cupcakes and a cookie cake since then. Wonderful customer service with fantastic sweets to indulge to give a try before you make a large purchase if never had them. Won't be disappointed! Debs is a family favorite!”

“Mary's has great fresh baked breads, nice breakfasts and very good sandwiches. We had the club, the Reuben, and the Mary's Favorite, a pimiento cheese sandwich on jalapeño cheddar bread. The place is cute and the service is friendly. Located just outside Big Canoe, it is a convenient place to grab sandwiches for lunch.”

“Went in for my first time November 10th, 2023. I tried 3 of there brews and everyone of them was spectacular. The bartender/owner I assume, was super friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were reasonable so I walked out with a 64oz growler filled up so I could continue to enjoy there fine products at home. I will return in the future and this maybe a normal Friday stop for me to see what new creations they have on tap. Definitely a five star experience.”

“Asking a 60-something old person purchasing alcohol for ID is ridiculous. I've shopped at this IGA since it opened and was carded for the first time 2 weeks ago. Now it's a regular occurrence. I was told that a cashier sold alcohol to a minor and was arrested. Still, whatever happened to common sense? Carding people in their 60s? Funny thing happened last time I was carded. 22 or 23 year old male buying beer before me - she only asked him for his birth date. However, she wanted to see my ID. Store is OK. Prices are high.”

“This gentleman and his wife have the most wonderful, yet completely unassuming place ever--in the corner of a Sunoco gas station, no less. His pizza dough is made fresh daily and hand-tossed, his ingredients are fresh, and he is extremely personable. His pasta dishes and his antipasto is also wonderful, and as a matter of fact--we are headed there now to pick up some dinner on our way home. As former city-dwellers and restaurateurs who had literally every type of dining and cuisine at our fingertips for the last 20+ years, we won't take this place for granted. It's honest, delicious and we love it.”

“We had my sons 1st birthday here on 1/6/2023. The staff was fantastic and very friendly! Our drinks, appetizers and entrées all came out very quickly, even for a party of 24 of us. Everything was delicious and I can't recommend this place enough! 10 out of 10 for service and food.”

“The place looked wonderful, southern fried chicken was awesome. Service little slow but friendly as I think they might need additional help in the kitchen and staff stikk getting acclimated. Salmon portion was small so I suggest getting an appetizer or salad. May want to offer some French bread while waiting for meal.”

“We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner at the Old Mulehouse and were thrilled with the night! Chelsea the event coordinator was very patient with my questions and was very flexible to work with. Our guests raved about the food, atmosphere and staff! Shout out to Jerry and Clayton who took excellent care of everyone. We had the trout almondine and the terres major both were excellent! We also loved the private space that was perfect for our 30 people.”
