“I'm going to go a bit long on this review. First off, I dislike public reviews, because, for the most part, I'm starting to really dislike the public, lol. I took the time to read a bunch of these reviews. As expected, with few exceptions, the negative ones were quite frankly, par for the course, predictable.
As for mine, I'll be honest. I'm a Buffalo NY native, later from Rochester. I know delis, and I know subs. It's difficult to find that exclusive northeast "taste" in subs from other locales/regions. It's hard to explain. Furthermore, NOBODY is currently building big, double decker subs that won't fit into the SUB bags anymore. Yall would b*tch at what that'd cost. So don't sh*t on Larry's because it says Giant in their name. I saw reviews were people complained about pricing, evidently clueless to what's going on around them. Produce, food services, any and all overhead is ridiculous right now. Speaking of ridiculous, I had to laugh at the ones saying they'll ditch Larry's for JJs. Yeah let me know how that works out $$$...
LARRY's is a really good place, and a pretty close option for down here in Athens, if you're comparing sandwiches with the northeast. I might suggest a bit thicker on the cheese, adding mozzarella and grated parmesan, and some livelier spice choices. But I STILL give them all their stars. I will be back...and you're over an hour from me.

“The service was excellent as usual. I went with my 2 daughters. One had a fruit tray from the cooler up front and it was not fresh at all. We took it back to the counter and they remade it right away, no problem which was good. The broccoli salad was on point and my other daughter loved her loaded potato soup. The only problem was it seems they don’t put lettuce and tomato on the sandwiches anymore which made for a boring sandwich and it needs that texture. We will be confirming that lettuce and tomato be added next time.

Parking: With so many stores nearby it is tricky to find parking during lunch.

Kid-friendliness: It would be great if there was an all sides option. My youngest doesn’t care for chicken salad but loves the sides. I usually order the chicken trio so she can have my extra side by as she gets older that won’t be enough. If they had a deal like the chick but just sides we would come more often.“

“My bf came here at 9:20pm to get some food claiming it was “really good!”. I on the other hand was not convinced..i mean maybe it’s fair to say that it’ll be good say like in the middle of the day but 40 minutes before close? I was weary to say the least, I figured we’d end up w cold measly leftovers or maybe something rushed. All I can say is DAMN was I wrong. I got a chicken bacon ranch spud and the portion was massive and my bf got the French dip. The food was hot, YUMMY and well served AND fresh even though it was near close. Though we don’t have one near us, I for one will DEFINITELY be back. Highly recommend. I for one thought the French dip was just okay (but my bf begs to differ he was groaning in between bites lol). However I personally recommend the chicken bacon ranch spud!!! Could easily feed two medium hungry people or one very hungry person. It was great!“

“We placed a curbside order at the Statham subway and on our way there it said the order was cancelled. I called and spoke to to Levi. He was very nice, went above and beyond to help. They did get our order and he made it for us right away. Thank you Levi. And the sandwiches he made were amazing!!“

“This is the perfect dining spot for the winter! The atmosphere is cozy,the staff is friendly and helpful and all around good service. I love their turkey bacon club and their loaded potato soup,I ate it with one of their Cinnabons and had some of the best naps I've had all winter!“
