“This was our first time at Cotton Calf Kitchen and we weren't disappointed. First of all, our server Lauren T. was one of the best servers we have ever been served by at any restaurant. The attention to detail was impeccable. The food presentation from the salad to the steaks was on point. We are moving to the area and this is a staple of why we are moving to the community. Well done!!“

“Stopped by after a busy day of shopping. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our server Taylor did a really good job. No long wait for food to arrive. She was good about checking in with us to make sure we were happy.“

“We enjoy the Winder location for dinner and Sunday brunch and decided to try the Monroe location. We were looking forward to a nice evening out, but due to the service we won't be back to Monroe. The food was good, when we finally received it. We had a reservation and once we were seated, we waited 20 minutes for our server to come and greet us and ask for our drink order. No one came over until I went to the front counter to ask who our server was. The food arrived an hour after being seated. The atmosphere was loud and crowded. I much prefer the Winder location and we will only be going back there in the future.“

“Great people! They were super kind and helpful to me when a stranger called the police on me for driving up the highway! (Some crazy woman cut me off, and since I was going in the same direction as her, she said I was following her, but I was not I was just going home north like she was.) And then the cops came and they were acting like I did something wrong! They treated me like a criminal and accused me of lying about where I lived. The detective told me that raising your hands in a I give up whatever type motion is actually considered aggressive driving, and that he could arrest me for it. Anyway, all the people in Waffle House were super supportive and very nice and knew about the specific officers in Jefferson, and were able to help me figure out the best way to keep myself safe in this situation. I will be grateful to them forever, because as a new resident of Jackson County this was a terrifying experience. So I highly recommend this Waffle House but I do not recommend this police force. Or being on the highway behind someone in an Acura suv who has a cross hanging from their rearview mirror, that person will definitely definitely try to screw you“

“We have been traveling for the past few months from NC to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center to see family. We found this little jewel early on and always stop now. Hannah is an ah-mazing waitress and even though we don’t come often, remembers us and our drinks. Great food and true hometown feeling. Wish we lived closer!“
