“Outstanding Food and Overall Experience! - Reservation for 8 to celebrate my youngest daughter's birthday (4:30 on a Friday). We almost changed our mind, because we learned my oldest daughter and her hubby had a bad experience at this restaurant in 2021. So glad we gave it another chance. Restaurant is under new management, and it shows! From the greeters at the door with smiles making a first impression, to a personable, attentive server (LeLe), excellent food and engagement by the manager being visible and interacting with guests - it was well worth our time. Total enjoyment! Our group had the snapper, salmon, shrimp & grits, catfish and one vegetarian who made a meal from the sides. Food was beautifully plated and presented and everything was hot & fresh, well seasoned and tasted great. Generous portions too. We also had the bourbon glazed brussels, skillet cornbread and the sticky ribs as appetizers. HIGHLY recommend the brussels and the ribs!! It was the first day testing the ribs, so you may have to ask for them, if they're not on the menu yet. Appreciated the free birthday dessert! If you had a previous bad experience over the last couple of years, you may want to try again. The new manager has the right attitude and a good vision for setting a new standard for The Parkside District. Keep it up! We will definitely visit again. We are glad to recommend the restaurant!“

“Local Republic is one of our favorite downtown Lawrenceville spots. The food is always solid, the burgers are great, and it just has that easygoing atmosphere that makes it a go-to for lunch or dinner. It’s the kind of place you can bring family, meet up with friends, or just grab a casual meal and always feel good about it. Consistently good experience every time we go. “We ordered the chopped steak, grilled salmon, and grilled chicken sandwich with mushrooms. The meat is very good quality and cooked just right. Plenty of real mushrooms, onions, and gravy. The portions are good too, I’m full. I am saving the sandwich for later but it looks great!“

“Blue rooster in Monroe did my wedding cake and it was amazing! Beautiful and tasty. Maddy was very easy to work with and did our cake exactly how we wanted it. They are a little pricy but so worth it. The cake was all eaten up at the wedding.“
