“The grits are the best I've had. The FL Sunshine waffle breakfast was nice with fresh fruit on the top. The chicken sausage was subpar and dry. I did come at lunchtime though, so I'll have to try it during breakfast time when it might be fresher. Love the apple butter that came with biscuit.Bathrooms are in a bit of rough shape. For what they charge for eggs, they should put a fresh coat of paint on the interior bathroom doors and fix the paper towel dispenser.“

“Since our American subsidiary is based in Norcross, we regularly make our way from Germany ?? to the USA ??.Our American colleagues always have fantastic restaurants for lunch and dinner. They already raved about Uncle Jack's Meat House on our last visit in November 2023, but unfortunately the tight agenda didn't allow us to come here back then.The anticipation was accordingly great when Rob told us this morning that we would be coming here for dinner As an appetizer on the house there was glazed bacon with extra peanut butter (an incredibly delicious combination) and glazed meatballs. That immediately made me want the steak.The boneless ribeye steak with espresso rub was excellent. Perfect doneness, super juicy and tender... A dream ??We ordered four different sides: cauliflower gratin, sautéed mushrooms, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts with bacon. Everything was super delicious and tasty across the board.The service was very friendly, courteous and attentive, you immediately felt warmly welcomed.The ambience in the location is phenomenal, it looks extremely visually appealing.All in all a perfect evening, we will come here for dinner a few more times “

“I wish I could rate this place higher!! Haven Restaurant and Bar is such a gem. I dined here for the first time last night with friends and everything was simply phenomenal. I had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin which was absolute perfection. The beef was cooked exceptionally well with the perfect amount of salt. The whipped potatoes were nice and buttery smooth and the spinach was the best spinach I've ever had. It was packed with flavor and the bearnaise sauce accompanied everything so well. We also tried the new Grilled Artichokes which were delicious. The ricotta really put it over the top and again, was seasoned perfectly. The staff was also top notch! “Ate here after craving lobster rolls for a while and it did not disappoint. I wouldn’t say it was worth $64 for 3 sandwiches but it was definitely a pretty good portion for the trio, and the sandwiches were pretty packed. The coleslaw was disgusting, had a really weird aftertaste like it had expired, and the pickles were limp and dehydrated, salad edges were brown. However I didn’t come for the sides so I guess I can’t complain? I do have to address the tip culture that has gotten way out of control. I didn’t really understand how this establishment worked. You order your expensive food at the counter and they bring it to you, then you throw your trash away on the way out. Just like a fast food restaurant. I guess for the prices I wasn’t expecting that, so when the tip screen came up and the girl just stared at me waiting for me to tip her for nothing I was stumped and felt guilty. $74 lunch for 3 sandwiches it was. Guys… rest assured that you won’t see the employee again for the rest of your meal and you can just pay for the food without the guilt trip to tip an enormous amount for zero service. If I had known what I was walking into, I would have been better prepared. Next time I crave a lobster roll, I’ll know!“

“This was our first visit to Local Expedition, so the lady behind the counter introduced us to their offerings and how to order. WOW was it worth the quick learning curve. Fantastic food and very reasonable prices. Really good vegetables. We tried the smoked chicken (chopped and super soft/tender), rice, carmelized carrots, broccoli, zucchini squash, carmelized brussel sprouts, potstickers and some kind of really unique corn on the cobb. Loved it all, but especially the carrots, chicken, brussel sprouts, and the cilantro sauce that came with the meal. We now who to try next for catering. Great find!“

Our waiter was kind but a bit slow to bring water & didn't check on us unless we waived him down.Star lost because online mentions gluten free options (which is why we selected the restaurant) but the menu only had 1 true gluten free item. A salad. Yikes.The food was good once it arrived. Definitely try the truffle fries!!“

The greens were PERFECT not requiring any condiments at all! The salmon and lamb cooked to perfection and the yams and Mac & cheese didn’t disappoint. Honestly it was all soooo good!! We took the crane cake and the steak frite. The crab cake was ok but too much bread in it. The steak frite was a revelation, the meat was tender and flavorful, very unique and we will be back for it. The bémol of this review is mostly the wine, good but the quantity provided for $12 are ridiculously small so you end up ordering more than 1 glass, was it on purpose? Anyway I suggest to avoid the wine as it spikes the bill significantly.“

We went on a Saturday around 5ish so it was not too crowded and got seated with no reservations.Our waitresses was very nice and repeated our order which was an added bonus.I had a Ceasar salad which was not drenched in dressing. It had the perfect amount.Then our mains came out. I had the Prime Rib. It was perfect. Some places you get a 14oz prime that is 10oz of fat, not thos place. Perfect amount of marbling. Only complaint was the horseradish didn't really have any bite to it, but that is ok.The Village Tavern is definitely added to our rotation of places to go.My wife had a burger that she said was good. Some places she gets a burger from and they are no better than Wendy's but this, she said was really good.The only reason I dropped lower in atmosphere was because we were seated next to the kitchen. I would say if you are going to have a discussion, move to an location not next to where people are sitting. Didn't bother me but some might have an issue.Parking: Just be aware that there are signs that says the restaurant is not responsible for lost items. Nothing happened when we were there, but follow the signs.“

The steak was incredibly juicy and was accompanied by a very creamy baked mac and cheese. The fries and smashed potatoes were also delicious. We really enjoyed the pork tenderloin as well. To finish the night, we were treated with one of the most divine chocolate cakes I have ever eaten. It was perfectly fudgy, warm, and rich. The wine came right away. The appetizer took a while, but it was a hot and delicious dish. We ordered steaks and didn't get them for an hour or more. The steaks were tasty. He did come back to check if we were happy with the steaks and we unanimously. One of our guests was the birthday. He got a very nice dish of sweets enough for sharing though he demolished the plate. I had to find the server and ask for a dessert menu. I've rarely, if ever, had to locate a server for anything else due to long gaps of time between services. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because the restaurant was busy, we came at a busy time. The staff were pleasant, respectful, and welcoming. The food was very good. I really liked the server. He must have been busy with a lot of tables. Perhaps help from a food runner would have helped.“
