Servers were friendly, personable yet not intrusive which is a difficult mix that they have mastered. “Always a pleasure coming to Boxcar between the food, atmosphere, and staff it makes for a pleasant experience.
I had the braised beef short ribs that came with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The meat was super fork pull apart tender, mashed potatoes well seasoned, and collard greens like somebody’s Grandma was making them in the kitchen.
My wife and I also had the collard greens cheese dip and the Kung Pao Brussel sprout for an appetizer. Both appetizers were delicious and more than enough for 2-3 people.
If ever at the West End, going out for a date night, or looking for a place to grab a meal and chill before taking a short walk on the beltline please checkout Boxcar they won’t let you down.“

“I had the incredible pleasure of the Miller Union experience last Saturday. I run a small nonprofit meal ministry program in Gwinnett and I am a colleague of your Executive Pastry Chef's mother. Being from industry, but now serving in a different manner, I must say how satisfying it is to know that considering the major challenges presently in the restaurant industry, you have built a culture of service, professionalism, precision and family that is simply impossible to find. You were flawless on that night. I claimed time out of my busy schedule to treat myself, I didn’t have a reservation but was granted the best seat in the house, at the bar, on the corner, right at the service area next to the ticket stabber and the printer. You might ask, why that seat was so great... well, for the first time in 35 years I had no responsibilities being that close to the start and finish of an order. I knew I was in the right place to do something I'd never done before and that was to take my hands off the wheel and allow the environment to take control. I asked, who I believed to be the Sommelier (sorry can't recall his name)to order for me. Of course he would line me up with the best wines without sacrificing my mortgage payment, lol by my request, but I kept eyeballing those Sailor's Greetings passing by and had to inquire. The Bartender was "straight fire" and gave me the scoop... a reduction of muscadine wine!!!! WHAT!!! Anyway, the Pork Belly, the Field Pea and Peanut Salad, all amazing. When it came to the entree I had to pump the breaks on the house choice... I saw Collard Greens with the Pork Loin... being born and raised in the South, I had to know. The moment of truth, Wow! Okay I had to look this... Unicorn in the eyes. Now it's Saturday night so I didn't expect Chef Steven Satterfield to be present but low and behold, he was there. I couldn't see him because he was doing what he was supposed to be doing... Driving the Bus! So after an awesome experience thus far and a visit from who I believe was the FOH Maestro, Neal MaCarthy, it was on to the reason I was there… to experience the offerings of Chef Claudia Martinez. Her team did not disappoint. Again I left it up to the BOH and BAM!!!...the Doughnuts!!! Just phenomenal. So I wrapped up and called for my car and on my way out I was saluted by GM Vince Landi and informed Chef Satterfield had a moment and he was kind enough to greet me. Needless to say, I was honored and proud of know our industry's best days are ahead of us. Thank you Miller Union and Chef Satterfield for a night to remember and for continuing to carry the torch. “My husband and I had an incredible dining experience at Georgia Boy. Every course was amazing and the creativity of each dish blew us away. We were sent home with delicious Wonka style candy bars and gave one to our daughter Georgia (who is a huge fan of the Willy Wonka movies) and she was in awe! We will definitely be returning!“

“Dining at Atlas in Atlanta was, without a doubt, the most extraordinary culinary experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been to several Michelin-starred restaurants, but nothing has compared to this. What made this evening so unforgettable wasn’t just the masterfully crafted dishes (which were phenomenal), but the people who brought the experience to life. Chef Money and his incredible team, including Maxwell, Julian, and many others, showed a level of hospitality and genuine kindness that I have never encountered in fine dining. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel not just welcome, but truly cared for. And the food. Every single bite was absolutely unforgettable. Each dish was a perfect blend of artistry, flavor, and emotion. You could feel the heart behind every plate. From the first amuse to the final bite of dessert, I found myself completely immersed in the flavors. Every course built upon the last, creating a seamless, delicious journey I didn’t want to end. This wasn’t just a dinner. It was a beautifully orchestrated experience filled with warmth, creativity, and connection. Chef Money and his team have created something truly special at Atlas. I left feeling full, grateful, and honestly in awe of what I had just experienced. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough. I cannot wait to return.“

“Seven ladies from Memphis went to Frost Bistro 4/5/2025 for dinner. The atmosphere was a vibe. The service was great! I took a picture with Rasheeda Frost! She is more beautiful in person!! She was kind and approachable! I love me some Rasheeda Frost!!! Our waister was Tyra. She was absolutely amazing! She suggested the sautéed brussels sprouts with my honey hot lamb chops. The sauteed brussels sprouts were a hit! My lamb chops were so moist and juicy! My food was delicious. I also had a wellness drink. It was perfect! Everybody enjoyed their food. The food was fye!! I would definitely go back!!!“

“@fia_atlanta is more than the restaurant located in Buckhead’s @theburgesshotel; it celebrates Mediterranean cuisine featuring wood-fire grilled specialties. Fia is open daily for breakfast and dinner and has a cozy, intimate atmosphere where you feel like you are among friends, due in part to the stellar customer service. The food is some of the best in Atlanta! My favorite dishes include the Butternut Squash Soup, Jumbo Asparagus, and Pork Belly. I found Mr. B's Burger good but not craveable given the price point.“

“1st time dining here. The food and service were excellent. Yellowfin tuna and burrata-tomato appetizers. I had the ribeye special. The sides we got were the brussels sprouts, au gratin potatoes, and mushroom risotto. Nice wine list and chocolate chip cookie skillet for dessert. Hope to visit again soon“

“This place is out of this world fantastic. The pastrami is near perfect. We dined for brunch and tried piled high pastrami, the general breakfast with schmaltz potatoes, deviled eggs, and pastrami and grits. We also had coffee and egg cream. We finished off brunch with a round of desert: cheesecake, coffee cake, and chocolate cake. Everything was so good from the service, to the atmosphere, to the food and I can’t wait to go back here.“

“5Church was a beautiful location and the food was great. Service overall had room for improvement. Our waiter was very slow in servicing us, and I believe his shift ended, or his break started, in the middle of our dining. We had to wait a long time for someone else to wrap us up.
We also had a strange experience with valet. We pulled into valet around 2:45-2:50. Before we ordered our food, the valet came in said his shift was ending, and gave us our keys. He seemed to expect a tip and I gave him a small one, but I was miffed by that. To top it off, our car was unlocked the entire time.
Overall, I would go back again while in the area, but I hope for better service all around.“

“We were going to go to a different korean spot nearby but when we went there the menu had changed because there was new management so I found this place last minute and I’m so glad I did. Authentic flavors, authentic atmosphere with kpop playing in the background, service was great too. Highly recommend!!“
