“I haven't been to this Waffle House in years, since it first opened. I was pleasantly surprised by our cook this morning. I'm a anti-social, and I don't do well around others & I'm very picky with my food. The cook was very attentive, sociable, and accommodating. The cook checked in on us, making sure we didn't need anything. The cook was a expert on my food, which is hard to find in a local Waffle House & without any hints on my pickiness. The cook at 5AM, needs to be promoted to a management role since my experience is what every paying customer deserves.
My low service score was based solely on my server. I felt like a nuisance as soon as I entered. NO friendly greeting & the server remained on a personal cellular device while the cook took care of us. My husband does his best to be unjudgemental but even he made a comment regarding the server taking our order & bringing a ticket (after requested by the cook), but that was the only communication. I still tipped the server while making excuses but the cook will be our only reason for returning to this location.“
“Really enjoyed my time here. Food was so good and our waitress Dare is so lovely. I loved hearing about her little Scottish Boy and her family ❤ One of the waitresses is from our neck of the woods so she dropped by our table and we chatted. All round we were made to feel very welcome and at home. ❤🍀“
