“I have eaten at Smitty’s many times. Wings are not normally on the menu. They added wings as a football tailgate special so I decided to try them. They were some of the best wings I’ve ever eaten. Good sized both flat and drums. I’ll certainly continue to frequent Smitty’s and would like to appeal to the owner/manager to make the wings a regular on the menu.”

“I like stopping at truck stop restaurants. To sit down and be served a hot fresh meal beats fast food any day. This was no exception. Service and food were very good and plentiful. I had a French toast breakfast (at 4pm) and my wife a turkey club. Truck stop has a full range of amenities including exercise room, shop and barber!!!”

“They were out of every bread but herb and cheese. The staff was preoccupied with talking to their friends or "other" people behind the counter not wearing uniforms. The atmosphere felt like we were a burden to them, uninviting and cold. My son got the chicken bacon Swiss and got food poisoning. The meatballs were cold (not even hot enough to melt the cheese), out of roast beef, but the cookies were good.”

“I totally dropped my donut on the floor at complete fault of my own while trying to balance mine with my son’s donut when leaving so I could hold his hand — I was just going to consider it a loss and go about my day donut-less but the young lady behind the counter insisted on replacing it for me even though my dropping it wasn’t her fault. She was extremely kind and the donut was delicious. 10/10 customer service you’ll seldom find at chains and 10/10 donuts too! “We love to go to Gumlog. They have the best catfish around. Steaks are great, they are so tender that they just melt in your mouth. Waitress's are so friendly they make you want to come back. All around it is one of the best places around to eat”
