“This is a great place to have breakfast. Food is excellent. The pancakes are the best I have had in years. Great service and great prices. If you are a breakfast person, this is a must visit. The lunch buffet looks awesome but have not had chance to try it out. I know it will be great too.“

“My wife and I paid a visit here for lunch on our Anniversary! I had the Reuben half sandwich with Baked Potato soup and my wife had the Turkey sandwich. Sounded simple but oh my gosh the quality was incredible! The soup was unbelievable and the Sandwiches were flavorful and fresh...and then...there were the pies. Be smart...leave room for dessert...lots of room. The waitress brought out a tray with like 12 different selections and all we could say was, "Yes, please!" Best. Pie. Ever...I mean in history! Blueberry, Fresh peach, Lemon, Pecan, Cheesecakes...if you have trouble making decisions, you may need therapy after viewing the tray! But wait...then you go to pay...and the bread racks, cakes, and prepared casseroles are silently calling your name as you dig out your wallet. We'll be back...again and again. The staff were great, it's immaculate inside...but then again...don't go. I want to make sure we can get a table next time! Well done, folks...well done!“

“Gumlog Brewery has been such a fun addition to downtown Lavonia. Even though we don’t drink, I love their wine slushes and their pretzels with cheese dip — so good! They’ve brought such a great energy to downtown with evening events and a fun atmosphere for the community. It’s been really nice to see our town have more places to gather and enjoy time together.“

“Awesome restaurant. My husband and I found it as we were exploring old town near where we were camping it was more than we could have expected. Hope the locals help it stay open so we can come back next time. If you haven't been there you have to go.“

“I was getting my tired patch down the road and it was too hot to wait outside so I literally just walked a block up and found this little hidden gem. Best sweet tea I’ve had in ages and all the employees were just so polite and friendly. They serve all kinds of southern treats and do events on the weekends. Recommend it to all my friends and people in the area. Come check it out.“

“Chili dogs was great slaw dogs was great chili cheese tater tots really good whish I would got to try the burger but the lady said they were sold out but food for dollar it was good maybe next time I can try more it was close to there closing time so all we was able to get was hotdogs and chicken although I would have had 4 chili dogs but they were running low“

“A friend and I stopped by for a couple of hotdogs with fries for take out. Delicious as always. Prompt service, down home family atmosphere. It wasn't crowded at the time. Our family has eaten here since I was just a little boy, every bit of 40+ years that I can remember. I'm in my 50s now and still love this place. You just can't beat it.“

“I had to seat myself X5 people came in after I did and ordered my food BTW. They received their food prior to mine. I asked the waitress about my food. She then gave my food 20mins later. Everything was COLD! grits w/lumps cold, bacon cold, cheese eggs cold, the toast was old/cold! I spoke with the waitress and left NO TIP! WORST W/H EVER!!!“

“We enjoy this restaurant although it's not always consistent. The last night we visited, we had a waitress that had a great attitude but very little knowledge about the menu. However, attitudes make up for a lot. However, It's disappointing that this JP is so different than the one in Anderson, South Carolina. Over the two. I prefer the one in Anderson. (And I do wish they would clean the glass doors as you walk in). I know it seems picky but walking in a door that is dirty sets the feel for the rest of the restaurant. I will return, as the food was good.“

“Food and service was great. Only problem we had was the restaurant was very warm inside. Waitress said that the manager on duty was cold natured and kept it that way when she works. This is a restaurant and manger should be catering to customers not herself.“
