“First time dining here and I drove 60 miles to eat at this restaurant.I've been reading the Hometown monthly magazine for several years and I had seen ads for this restaurant but was never nearby during their hours of operation. Well today they were open for business and I had the time to drive to Lavonia. It was so worth it !I had a combo lunch of Spinach cheese quiche with a salad and my husband and 1/2 of a club sandwich with a salad. It was just the right amount of food for your midday meal. And we ordered a slice of cake to bring home to enjoy later. There is a bakery in the same building that has loaves of bread, cheese straws, cakes, pies, and cupcakes.“

“Some of the best smoked chicken I've ever had. The slaw and stew were so good. The hot sauce was perfect: just the right amount of kick, and you can still taste your food. And the service was amazing. They were all cheerful and hospitable. This place is a gem!“

“Met Kelly and made a trip for lunch. Food is AMAZING, had the most fantastic chicken salad and grilled cheese. Peanut butter cake to top it off was absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Already planning another visit on Monday night for chicken and dumplings.“

“The food is always great. We love the hamburger steak, flounder and cheeseburgers. They have a great salad. The hush puppies are our FAVORITE!! The servers are always smiling and friendly. We have been driving from Anderson, SC for over 20 years to eat here.“

“Our first time at silocafe. We had excellent service. There were a few more people there, but we had a wonderful waitress that was on top of things. The food served was perfect. The strawberry cake for desert was very moist. It couldn't have been better. Thank you. ?“

“Nice little place with plenty of seating they have a buffet here and also food you can order that truck parking and your reason to well here as well as cars and whatever else you bring... And they are very attentive to your needs of recommend coming here even the iced tea is good..“
