“It was a small corded off space, the waitresses were polite and friendly. Service was prompt. But it took a good half hour to get our food. BUT!!!!! IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! I got the pancake plate. 5 HOMEMADE pancakes,eggs,and bacon! Hubby got the burger plate. EXCELLENT burger and very good fries. They might take a bit of time in the kitchen but it IS WORTH IT. The food is great. Homemade pancakes!?!?!? Who does that anymore? They were FABULOUS! I WAS A HAPPY HAPPY GIRL.“

Kid-friendliness: I always see lots of kids there. I think though, that kids 10 years old and younger have a be with an adult at at buffet line.

“We had a large group from church. They had our long table all set & ready for us. Several waitresses worked together & had everyone served so quickly. The food was fresh, hot & abundant! Drinks were refilled constantly. Bills were distributed accurately & the very kind ladies took our checks & brought our change, saving us from standing in line. “A friend and I stopped by for a couple of hotdogs with fries for take out. Delicious as always. Prompt service, down home family atmosphere. It wasn't crowded at the time. Our family has eaten here since I was just a little boy, every bit of 40+ years that I can remember. I'm in my 50s now and still love this place. You just can't beat it.“

“Neutral atmosphere, kinda felt like a high school lunch room. Sesame chicken was delicious on the buffet and on the pick up order we had a few days later. Lo mein noddles with and without veggies was delicious. Tempura shrimp and regular shrimp were delicious. Crab legs were smaller on the buffet, they had gloves but the little forks were not available. Desert bar bananas were okay with the red sweet sauce and banana cream were again okay. I would recommend they allow the customer to peele their own bananas for those two desserts so they are not saturated and gooey on the outside. They save on unused bananas and customer get crispy bananas! The coconut truffles were delicious. Jello was delicious, stable and firm.“
