“Attic WE live in Highlands, NC but our kids live in GA. It is a wonderful drive there and back, but we always plan our trip with a lunch stop in Clarkesville, at the Attic Restaurant. Exposed brick walls, a nice bar and ALWAYS fresh foods: I almost always get special soup. We dine inside, but outside is lovely too! Love the waitstaff, the ownership, and even the guests are congenial. The town has cute shops, a great antiques shop and more. You never know where to go off the interstate, BUT the attic is worth the detour!“

“Absolutely wonderful time staying in the Burton Cabin and eating at Bleu Canoe restaurant. The restaurant has a large dog friendly outdoor patio with magical string lights and big trees that provide the perfect outdoor ambiance. Food is outstanding and so unique to the region. You can tell that the quality of ingredients is high and that a lot of care goes into the preparation. Their stocks are homemade! Wednesdays is oyster grilling night and Thursdays is live music. A must visit restaurant when in the area or make it a weekend getaway with a stay in one of their historic cabins or tiny homes.“

“The food is always good but the prices has gotten outrageous! I got the breakfast smash burger and I thought was the same as value menu. $11.99 for the burger and $3.59 for a glass of tea. All together over $16.00. I could have gotten a whopper and drink at Burger King cheaper than that. I would have gotten the regular smash burger on dollar menu if I had known that.“

“Clean, friendly environment. Staff is Happy to serve you. Breakfast is homemade, beautiful light biscuits and gravy. Big homemade cinnamon rolls on Saturdays. Will be returning. Encourage everyone to go if you want a good hot homemade breakfast.“

“No one knows JUST how AMAZING the food is here because it's tied to a bowling alley. Let me just tell you..... It's some of the best food in Habersham County. The menu is as big as Texas. Don't know what to get? Go on a Tuesday and try a specialy cocktail by the best bartender ever. Start with an appetizer of spinach artichoke dip, the Greek salad will hit home. “I have dined at The Copper Pot many times, and somehow I have never tried the Gateway Grits…until today! Let me tell you, this is the best grit dish I have had in a very long time. I am very particular about my grits, and love that their grits are sourced locally from Nora Mill just down the road in Helen. I was looking for something that would warm me up on a cold January afternoon, and this hit the spot. It also helped that I had WONDERFUL service from Alex. She was very attentive, kind, and provided good conversation. Grateful to have wonderful eateries like The Copper Pot in my hometown!“

“I moved to Cornelia a little over a year ago, finally had food from Midtown Grill. All I can say this is now my favorite place. The portions are huge. The food is out of this world, it is so good that I have gotten food there twice this week. I can honestly say BEST hamburgers in Cornelia. I can’t recommend this place enough, if you haven’t tried it you must . Hope it never changes“

“Nice place. Ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of street corn. The street corn is really good! The shrimp and grits were good tasting but were so drenched in a sauce that wasn't described at all on the menu that the grits and shrimp were simply lost and the only thing you can taste is the sauce. Typically shrimp and grits are grilled shrimp with only a little butter or hot oil on top. The sauce would have been good had it been used minimally. My partner had a burger. He said it tasted good but it dripped in grease which made it a little less appetizing. I will go back because sometimes it's just a bad night. So hopefully next time will be better.“

“Great atmosphere, we had a friendly server who was knowledgeable about what was on and available from the menu. We received our food in a food in just the right amount of time, and our party's food all arrived at the same time, which has been an issue at other restaurants that we have visited lately. Food was fresh, and cook properly, my Medium Rare Filet was also perfect, every other member of our party's food was also prepared properly. We will definitely be back to this location of Long Horn to eat again.“
