“As a 26 year resident who's lived all over Atlanta, I hope Motorboat becomes a landmark staple. I visited on a night where staff was limited but Rebecca held it down managing the bar and the floor. She makes a pretty good old fashioned. However, there's room for improvement on the specialty cocktails.
Now for the food, tomato soup was very good. My party ordered the Chicago and the rachel. They were both good but not flavor bombs as. I feel the food was just OK when it should be crave worthy considering the location. Atl is not known for sandwiches so there's an opportunity here to fill a need. Especially, with all the transplants who love sandwiches. If I can get a note worthy sandwich in Chicago or NY for $14 why should I pay $17 for a basic one in Atl.“

“In from Dallas where I thought nothing could beat my favorite lemongrass but oh Atlanta. Thai Best Thai I’ve ever had!!! Food was amazing the flavors all so good and our server Suji was the nicest. “So I am 6 days in from Indianapolis Indiana and was looking for a place to get me a good salad. As I entered the Store Manager Cash instantly asked if I was picking up or doing 2 go. Directed me to kiosk for to go. The place was so clean, very very good energy in the atmosphere. Then while finalizing my order she came order 2 assist me with the questions I had. “Love this place. It is one of my go to places when I am in town. Great way to eat clean while traveling. I wish we had one of these near me! Staff is friendly, food is good, only thing I would suggest is a few more premade salad selections by season, but you can do a build your own so no worries they will make it how you like it. Thanks for always having such good service!“

I highly recommend coming as soon as they open because the wait can be very long during lunchtime… but the wait speaks for itself, people love this place and the food is worth the wait!“

“Tofu poke bowl with kale and cucumbers is really, really good, would probably add a little extra spice to the order next time for my tastes. Also, miso soup is good, too; not the BEST, but better than some of the misos I've had at other establishments ( even more traditional Japanese spots ) over the the past few years. Service was polite, friendly, and helpful. They have some canned drinks there I've never seen before anywhere else that look delicious ( punch, lychee, etc. ) but I didn't get any of those on this trip.“

“I highly recommend this chain! It breaks up the monotony of the other quick service bowl restaurants. They offer unique seasonal options for sauces and I love that they will give you the sauce and dressings on the side and you can administer it yourself. Fell in love with the jerk sauce Summer 2025 and I can’t wait to stop by again to try what’s new for fall 2025. Smart concept, quick service, healthy food, and lastly, I love the fact that they offer MOUTHWASH in the restroom.“

“I loved how beautifully decorated the restaurant is. It is definitely an AKA's dream brunch spot. Pink flowers and green furniture create a scene for any pretty girl to love. The food was good and reasonably priced. Parking was free and hassle free. Our waitress was friendly and doting to our needs. I recommend a booth for those soft cushions on your tush.“

Nothing fancy about these pizzas, but fresh ingredients, good crust and good effort on making these make these so much better than the PH, D, LC and PJ chain pizzas out there. “Love the beers at Inner Voice as well as the great staff and great vibes! The jammie pie sour is my favorite, but I usually like every beer I try on the menu (which often rotates). I love the colors and design choices they made, and that it feels like a small local spot while still having lots of space (inside and outside) to hang out and not feel too crowded. Always a fan of a good dog-friendly patio too!“

For desert we tried the churro oreos which taste delicious and the fried oreos. Both were good but the churro oreos were the best.
The customer service was great. Rick helped us. The ambiance was chill but cutesy with photo opportunities. Parking is free, you just have to park in their labeled spots. The spots say 20 min parking but if you're dinning in I was told thoes are the spots to use! I would recommend this restaurant.“

“Salata is one of my favorite places to grab lunch. The service is always great and the food is always fresh and tasty. It's very nice to have a solid option for a healthy meal close to my office. If you get a tea tap drink, I highly recommend filling your cup almost full of sweet tea, then topping it with a little peach lemonade. :)“

“A fantastic fusion of Turkish and Persian cuisine. I was in Atlanta for a week long trip and was looking for a Turkish restaurant the last day before flying out. I found Banu, it was not in the list of recommended Turkish restaurants that I got from local friends. One I had tried had ended up disappointing for me, so I wanted to give Banu a chance…I am so glad I did.
I tried lentil soup, dolma (yaprak sarmasi in Turkish), a bit of doner, rice, Soltani, and baklava.
Lentil soup was OK, very delicious but not extraordinary.
Yaprak sarmasi was one of finest examples that I tried in USA over my 20 years in the country. It was the vegetarian version (several other regional cuisines, including Turks, also cook a version with meat) with pine kernels, rice, onions and tomato paste. It was the first time I tried this dish with tomato paste, it was very balanced and unique, a fantastic derivative of this ages old dish, an outcome of Kiki, the owner chef of Banu.
My next items was Beef Soltani. Both the koobideh and chenjeh were amazing. Although these are Persian names of the items, the taste was closer to the Turkish derivatives, but also thanks to the magical touch of the chef, they were not overly hot, spicy, or greasy. They were also serves with vegetables and lavaj rather than safran rice as I am used to seeing in other Persian restaurants. You have to order safran rice separately but you really do not have to, especially if you are alone. It comes in a huge plate, like other Persian restaurants, and will be difficult to finish, but it is a very well cooked dish.
As I said, I also tried doner. Its taste is very good with modifications of Kiki. It is not exactly like the best you could find Turkey (and Kiki explained to me why) but one of the better ones I’ve tried in USA, and definitely light years ahead of the doner I tried in another very highly reviewed and recommended Turkish restaurant in Atlanta which I had tried a couple of days ago.
…and baklava, omg!!!! It is one of the best baklava I have tried in USA if not the best and it is at par with the best baklava you can try in Turkey, though I would likely prefer little more butter. Its crunchiness is at the right level, dough is opened as thin as it should be and it is filled with right amount of pistachios. I even asked if it baked in house or imported from somewhere (many Turkish restaurants import their baklava from Turkey or outsource to factories in New Jersey) and they said it is baked in house. Fantastic dessert!!!!
So, were there not any issues, yes of course. Nothing is perfect in life. When I escalated my issue to the chef-owner, Kiki, she just reacted with a big smile and a sincere apology, and offered me an additional serving of baklava and 2 bottles of Uludag gazoz (a Turkish brand of soda).
Verdict…a fabulous experience of Turkish and Persian cuisine as combined by talented touches of Kiki, the chef-owner of Banu.
I am looking forward to my next trip to Atlanta.“

“This place is beautiful. From the time we walked in to the time we sadly had to leave it was an incredible experience.
Our server Austin was on top of every dish and specialty items featured on the menu. Everything he suggested or recommended was filled with flavor and made you second guess why you didn't come in sooner. I threw my fork twice because the food was THAT good.
If you're ever in the area or not, its definitely worth the drive!“
