We were really looking forward to trying this place but left extremely disappointed. It took almost an hour for the entrees-rather, entree- to come out, only to find out my wife’s never got entered. The bartender tried to say she didn’t hear anything about meatloaf, but I specifically heard her confirm it. Came to Clayton to celebrate my finance’s birthday and decided to try this place for his birthday dinner. Good thing we did! The food and service was amazing, from start to finish. We started at the bar to wait for a table and had some amazing drinks! Moved to a table that was perfect. The restaurant is just gorgeous! We had steak and trout! Best trout I ever had! Absolutely the best meal I have had in years. We started with the Brussels sprouts. Delicious! I then had the ribeye that just melted in my mouth. We finished with the carrot cake. The best I’ve ever had. You’ll definitely want to save room for that (you’ll want it even if you don’t have room). You won’t regret it. We were in Clayton for a weekend getaway, but I would go back just to eat there again.
