“The fried chicken was delicious!! The skin was so crispy and crunchy! The biscuits are light and fluffy, absolutely scrumptious! The fries could have been a little crispier for my taste but they were good. Sitting outside enjoying the beautiful Spring weather was great! Our server, Terri was terrific! She was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the area! We also met Mully, the owner. Everyone was so friendly, with great atmosphere and fantastic food!“

“Great spot during Oktoberfest! For a town celebrating beer, most places seemed almost disdainful of anyone wanting to drink an actual German beer. The Tap Room owner had a better selection than the rest of the town, seemed knowledgable of his product, and actually seemed like the wanted people drinking something delicious.“
“Ordered a large pizza and it was tasty. The crust was alittle under cooked to my liking but that stop us from devouring the hole pizza in record time. Service was on point beer was cold and the atmosphere was nice. Next time I'll ask for my pie to be well done.“
“Casual restaurant with good food. He got the specialty burger with blue cheese on it. It was HUGE and had a homemade bun. He upgraded to onion rings. They were delicious. He said it was one of the best burgers he has ever had. I had the small pepperoni pizza. It was thin crust and pretty tasty. They also had a live singer.Kid-friendliness: You can eat in the covered deck outside with kids to make life a little easier.“
“Wow!! I didn’t eat, but their bourbon selection is INSANE. I’m not sure how people complain about smoking when they say they’re a bourbon and cigar bar. I live in Atlanta and it’s an amazing bourbon selection. Cigar selection is very good too. Bourbon prices are very fair. Wish the owner was my best friend, as they have some unicorns in the locked cages. Great bartenders too!!Update. Just met the owner. Nicest guy on the planet. A true bourbon fan and appreciated fellow bourbon enthusiasts. My jaw is still on the floor.“
“Great place and great people. And we love the boiled peanuts! Awesome flavors and nice people. The man and woman serving the peanuts are polite and friendly. I definitely recommend trying the lemon pepper and Cajun peanuts and grabbing a drink on the patio area at two tire tavern.“

“Great place to sit out and have a lovely meal and German beers looking out over to the river. Very dog friendly outside (they give your canine friend a cut up hot dog if you allow it).The schnitzel, potato pancakes and goulash were all delicious and came out nice and hot.The German beers were poured well in to appropriate steins. You can choose between 500cc or 1 liter pours. The schwartzbiers and festbiers we had were delicious.Service is excellent.“

Best selection of bourbon I have seen in Helen in our many visits. Live music daily. Great singer and guitar player! Hope they never change. Cornbread ( Big guy at the front door) has been there for over 20 years. He looks intimidating but is a great guy who will help anyone.“

“Trout and green beans were delicious! Grilled chicken was dry so would recommend getting one of the topping options. Beer cheese for the pretzel tasted and looked the same as the beer cheese soup. First time I ever had carrots in my beer cheese dip.“
“This is our second time coming up to the area for a little vacation away from busy Orlando FL area. We are in love with the town and nearby trails/helen. It’s our new tradition to stop into Clyde’s the first night we arrive and once more before heading back home. Each time we’ve had the most wonderful encounter with the best staff. Specifically Trudy & Brenda. They are absolutely angels and we love getting to see them when we come in! They always make us feel so welcome and like we are part of the town! The food is absolutely delicious as are the cocktails! I wish I could pickup Clyde’s and bring it back home with me!
