“I can’t say enough good things about La Moon in Virginia-Highland! I felt truly welcomed. My server, Shaanika, was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and kind. I started with the Butterfly Kiss cocktail, the garlic green beans, DONT SLEEP ON THE GREEN BEANS, they came highly recommended and I’m so glad I ordered them. So good!!! I also ordered La Moon wings, the ginger fish (incredible) and the lump crab fried rice (great portion! More than enough I brought some home for another dinner! I ended the meal with the La Moon La Mai cocktail, it was my favorite. You can tell they truly cherish their customers, they really spend time with regulars and make you feel special. “We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

Family favorites: pork dumplings, lo mein, general chey's stirfry, thai coconut soup, and the salads are actually really hardy and yummy. They have done a lot of give-back fundraisers for the neighborhood fire house and schools over the years and we really love that. We always eat here when the kids come visit from college. Friendly staff and good value for what you get.“

“Let’s talk about EAV That & Sushi real quick. I’ve never really been a Thai food eater. I’ll eat it if that’s what the majority wants but I’ve never been the one to have to have it. Baby listen, EAV That & Sushi has me in a choke hold as the food is AMAZNG!!!! We were in the area as Shaunie said it is one of her favorite places to go, as such, we went. Walking in, the ambiance is really low key and has a great feel to it. It’s perfect for friends, dates, or even alone. After we walked in we were able to be seated immediately. Continuing to take in the ambiance, the feel was so chill. There was a game on each television and the music was playing in the background. Yep, I’m here for all of this. Upon taking our seats, I ordered a sweet tea and began to scroll the menu. Taking a moment to take in the menu as there are an abundance of options, I decided on the Spring Rolls as an Appetizer and Pad Thai as my Main Course. Clearly I played it safe. 😂😂😂 From seating us to taking out drink and food orders, our waiter was super nice. He was professional, very educated on the menu offerings and kept a smile the entire time. Not to mention, we weren’t his only table yet he was on top of his game and provided top tier service. Once my food came I was immediately drawn into the aroma. The Thai Spices mixed with the Sweet smells of the sauce made me extra happy inside. LoL. The Spring Rolls were good. They were crunchy loo Upon first bite I almost melted. Whew! I have NEVER in all my years had a Pad Thai this amazing. I’m talking about perfectly cooked noodles. Optimum noodle to meat to sauce ratio. And best of all, the peanuts were coated in the sauce and not only acted as the extra layer of texture, but their flavor profile was enhanced which allowed the dish to have a multi-flavor blend of sweet, salty, and nutty. Omggggggg. I want moreeeeeeeeee. The dish arrived hot and was very fresh. This wasn’t no quick boil or reheated dish, no. This was freshly made when I ordered it and whoever the chef was is amazing at their job. Dear Chef, your ability to cook Pad Thai is beyond normal. Your supernatural flavor elevated dish was exciting, mouth pleasing, and has made me eager to return to EAV That & Sushi. If you’re in the area and ready to eat, you can not go wrong with EAV That & Sushi.“

“A jewel of a spot! I happened upon Paper Plane while looking for a “family friendly” dinner spot on Friday. I was so pleasantly surprised when I peeped in for a sec. Well I was welcomed and shown around thinking it looked to Posh to bring a two year old, but the manager said “oh we’re family friendly here come on in”! So we dined on DELICIOUS food with many great Vegetarian options, and Sage the “ticky” toddler cleaned his plate, and had a ball playing in the outdoor space! Terrel provided excellent service for our family and out of town guest, I am a FAN!“

“Walked in Saturday afternoon and grabbed a table. Plenty of privacy as there was only 7 people or so. Ordered the hot & sour soup which was a delight. Authentic, homemade, and great texture! Next came the mapo tofu, which was exceptional. Great flavor, very savory yet still had that tongue-numbing Sichuan heat without being overbearing. I prefer beef in this dish, but it worked well as a vegetarian dish too. Definitely worth a visit!“

“Wow wow wow. My wife and I are big tiki nerds and to be able to come to a place like this which is in such amazing shape and hasn't been renovated, is amazing. We were in awe of this place and so happy it still exists, but the way it exists. Its fantastic. Our food was delicious even, if our fish was a bit overcooked. Not a big deal. Still really good and not frozen garbage. Drinks were on point and didn't want them to end. The cherry on top is Mr. Bird. He's just a guy who is there often and he does tours. They are so good. If you care the teensiest amount about history, take his tour. If you're a tiki nut - you HAVE to do his tour. Hes entertaining and has so much amazing info, but goes with you around the restaurant speaking in detail of carvings, art pieces, films shot there. We had a fantastic time.“

“Authentic Thai/lao food that can compete with my 2 favs, SriThai (Gwinnett) and OG Hot cafe. The prices are good as well and in Atlanta. I ordered yum woon sen and papaya salad. Spicy of course! This will definitely be my new go to and it is closer to me. I can’t wait to try other menu items.“

“Amazing sushi! I was nearby for a conference and discovered this place at the food hall in Colony Square. I wasn’t incredibly hungry and ordered the Sashimi sampler and miso soup. Both great! The sashimi sampler is a great choice when you can’t decide between which fish to order. My go-tos are yellowtail and tuna but man, the salmon was delicious and better than most places I’ve ordered salmon from. All the fish I had was super fresh! The staff was super friendly! Highly recommend this place!“

“This is my second time ordering from Bachi Box. The first time was a personal order and I got the streak, chicken and shrimp hibachi. Even though I ordered through Uber eats my food still arrived hot and delicious. Because of my great personal experience I decided for our office tailgate that I would have Bachi Box catered. Marco and his team went above and beyond to provide us with a great experience. This time we ordered the noodles with chicken and veggies, crab ragoons, sugar donuts and wings (lemon pepper, mala, and mild). Everything we ordered was 10/10. Our team’s favorites were the lemon pepper wings and the sugar donuts.

My only personal add would be for them to add a sweet and sour dipping sauce for the crab ragoons. And a more savory yum yum sauce instead of the sweeter yum yum sauce.Overall I can be a very picky eater and place a lot of value if the quality and taste of food. So if you are someone like me wondering if you are going to get your bang for your buck you most definitely will!!!“

Shout out to Vee the owner. She's awesome!! Very personable, professional, accommodating, great energy and vibe. Had us laughing! I had the shrimp Pho( Pho Tha Love of Money) very clean taste, flavorful. The Veggie Springrolls were excellent as well. I love pho and ramen anyway,, so this definitely hit the spot.
