“Octavia and Nidavah mixed me the most delicious and beautiful Pomegranate Margaritas.
Both ladies were kind and friendly, interacting in conversation with me and happy dispositions. I was relaxing during my layover and the drinks were wonderful, best tasting margaritas I ever had and they made the atmosphere very pleasant.

Delicious vegan bakery/patisserie, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and the owners spent a lot of time talking with us. “The line stays out the door on the weekends, and for good reason. Evergreen’s pastries are on point. I tried 5 different pastries and would recommend every single one. They had 3 different pumpkin pastries (during the fall) for the basic bishes (I got all three). Their meat pies are stuffed. Want vegetables? Go elsewhere; here, it is about bread, meat, and sweets. They have vegetarian options, but it’s a butcher shop, so set expectations accordingly. The prices are totes worth it.

There is no seating indoors or outdoors, but Evergreen is located in the Kirkwood retail area, so grab a pastry and go for a lil walk. The area is cute and safe. Dress is casual, or however you want to look walking around.

There is easily accessible free street parking, and there is also unofficial stroller parking in front of the shop. There were 3 strollers lined up out front. One mother jokingly asked her baby if she wanted to stay outside in the stroller while she went into Evergreen. Guess she feels super safe in the area or is over the kid. Who knows?“

Also the lady who gave me the parking validation placed the sticker right over my original ticket barcode so it could not be verified when I was at the parking exit ticket machine!

“The owner is a lovely lady who is passionate about her cakes! She and her husband learned their skills from years of training in Japan. Their ingredients are pure and simple, which, surprisingly creates a complex array of tastes that you get from each bite. Hands down the best Mille Crepe cakes I’ve ever had! The lavender is so amazingly delicate and light. The red velvet is unique, with a strong coffee & chocolate flavor combined with velvety cream cheese layers. The Dulce de Leche is just spot on and definitely recommended for those who like their pastry sweeter. The matcha has an authentic Japanese flavor, delicate and not too sweet.
I’ll be coming back to try the other flavors!

What's not necessarily expected is people who enjoy their job and who serve exquisite morning pastries. This mushroom quiche took a normal morning at a coffee shop and turned it into a memorable occurrence. I will now crave this pastry in the recesses of my mind: it has forever raised the bar for breakfast dining. I recommended to the very nice owners that they keep serving this pastry.

The sandwiches were so fresh and yummy as well as coffee was very nice, I got latte with almond milk.
I ordered Portobello and Smoky Turkey paper for sandwiches.

I would really suggest the twice baked almond croissant among them.
It’s really crispy and full taste of almond.

I would definitely revisit soonest to try other menus?

She started go get a line but remained positve and made sure the people behind me were acknowledged. Wonderful service and tasty truffle. Love that it's a truck.“
