“I didn't come to Panera for a while because of a terrible experience at the one by Kennestone Hospital. I even sent an email about the extremely rude person who took my order. I visited the one on East-West Connector and had a pleasant experience. The cashier, Andrew, was very sweet and easily smiled. He also knew how to use my mobile gift card, which for some reason no one else has been able to figure out. I feel bad for Andrew because he took orders, but was also constantly cleaning inside and outside of the restaurant. The man needs a raise!“

“My croissant was wonderful! Eggs were so fluffy and the fruit salad was a great portion with yummy strawberries, watermelon, and grapes. My only complaint is they should change the coffee bean it’s has a very acidic and almost citrus taste, a darker more mellow roast would be better.

“Jewel Bakery is one of my favorite bakeries in Douglasville! Everything I've tried has been absolutely delicious, but my favorites are the Key Lime Lemon, Blueberry Lemon, and Caramel Pound Cake. Each one is moist, flavorful, and made to perfection. The flavors are rich without being overly sweet, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. What makes Jewel Bakery even more special is the owner. She has a wonderful personality, is always friendly, and is truly a breath of fresh air. You can tell she loves what she does and genuinely enjoys her customers. I live a little farther away, so I often have my treats DoorDashed to my house, and they always arrive fresh and just as delicious as if I had picked them up myself. If you're looking for a great dessert, I highly recommend Jewel Bakery. You won't be disappointed!“

When you can’t decide between sweet or savory, the owner offers life advice… “life is short, eat dessert first.” I could not decide what sweet treat to get but the cashier recommended one of their cinnamon rolls as that is his favorite. They were also coming out fresh just past 8am, so how could I say no? There’s cranberry-something in the middle and it tastes as magical as Christmas morning is supposed to feel. When you walk in, it just feels like a homey, family atmosphere which progresses throughout the day as local people come in and are greeted with a loving familiarity. I believe the owner was going around greeting people personally and helping customers however he could, making me and others feel warm and welcome. That just makes the food even better, ya know? For savory, I went with a sausage, egg and cheese pie and the lamb curry pie. Chips on the side are crispy and delish. There’s malt on the table if that’s your style. Both came out very hot. The lamb curry was a perfect flavor like Australian shepherd’s pie. The dough/crust of both have a unique flavor: maybe a taste of Australia. I’ve never been but I imagine that’s what it is. Authentic! Yummy yummy yummy! I got an eclair to go for my dad that I know he’s going to love. Portions are great. Definitely a fair price…All that for $22. Leave a tip in the jar. “I finally tried Crumbl Cookies and they definitely lived up to the hype. The cookies were super soft, thick, and packed with flavor. I love how they rotate their flavors every week because it makes you want to keep coming back to try something new.

The chocolate chip cookie was warm and perfectly gooey in the middle, and the other specialty flavors were really creative and delicious. The cookies are also huge, so you can easily share them or save some for later.

The store was clean, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. Everything was packaged nicely too. If you love fresh baked cookies and fun dessert flavors, Crumbl is definitely worth checking out.
