“You have to try the Cuban sandwich, I’ve never been able to find one better“

“My husband and I was looking for some place new to go for dinner and i found this place on the internet. We had never heard of it and it was close to our home so we decided to check it out. The set up is nice. I believe there are 3 or 4 dinning rooms. The staff was really nice and very attentive. We didnt make any reservations which they do prefer but they sat us still without a wait. The drinks were really good and they did not hold out on the amount of alcohol. Now the dinner. OMG Dinner was off the chain. I tip my hat off to the chef. I had the Honey Glaze Salmon and my husband is vegan so he had The Smoked spinach Asparagus Mashed potatoes and Brocolini. When I tell you this had to be the best food with so much flavor. We were more then pleased. The only complaint we have is the music got really loud. If couldnt hear each other even if you are sitting right next o each other. But other then that I will definitely return and I must say I am adding this to my list of best restaurants in Atlanta.“

“Shrimp tacos were legendary! Garlic knots; hot, tasty, and ohhh sooo delicious! Honey bbq wings were worth every bite and penny! Owner is such a lovely person, taking time to speak with us. Definitely a fabulous dining experience.“

“My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. The service, and my waiter was a 10 .plus“

“Nice food selection for a bar. Fast service, even with just 3-4 people working they were handling the crowd well. 2 nice adequate restrooms. Drinks strong, didn’t like the heavy salt on the Paloma-should have ordered it without. Rum Punch and Espresso drink good.

-okra portion size is too small. Too much salt on them. Great fresh cook just give more and use less salt.

-Brussels are too oily and buttery-you can see the butter heavy. Good portion just too much butter.

-Brisket Taco-Great value and I loved the BBQ taste. General flour tortilla shell but at least it’s toasted. Would’ve liked the option of fresh corn shell but I understand this is a bar. Was about to order more food, but I already ate. Prices are good all around: pool tables, games, nice chill vibe with some outdoor rooftop seating. Entertainment on some nights. For the overall experience, it’s pretty close to a five star if not already five star to you. If someone gives it a four star, it is the kind of four star that with improvements could easily be a five star, and this could be quite the regular hangout spot for some. Adequate parking on the street and in the rear.“

“Beer was good, but on 10/04 I took a hefty fall when one of their patio chairs gave out beneath me. I experienced the darkest ego death of my life. The chair buckled like it knew I deserved it. Waitresses were super kind and kept checking on me seriously, 10/10 for empathy. Very scary. RIP my dignity.“

“I attended my nephews wedding here and it was amazing. The staff was awesome. Attentive. And, very knowledgeable. The manager Bret recommended numerous drinks and drink specials. “This might be the coolest place known to mankind. The ambiance is like no other. They do it their way and if that suits you than this is the spot . The food was excellent. The Ka'mana Wa'na Lei'ya burger was over the top and the pineapple jalapeno jelly was bomb. They bring you a lot of napkins up front and I needed them. But the star of the show was my server Lex. She is the Shohei Ohtani (sorry Braves fan) of the downtown restaurant scene. She was super pleasant with a great smile and absolutely nailed every service point. I asked that she bring me a second beer without even asking when my first ran low. Sure a shit, there it was. She recommended the Muthacluckin' Chicken Rolls and killed it. Lex checked on me just enough and helped me with some official Vortex merch. How about a standing ovation for whoever is responsible for having her on staff. All said, if you love delicious food, great service and ambiance like no other - this is your place.“

“Outside dining is great. Tables aren't cleaned nearly enough or well. You'll enjoy seeing artsy people. Many are friendly. Service isn't wow, but decent. The fish and chip, loved the batter and the tenderness of the fish. I was not pleased with the one small cup of tartar sauce. I had to pay a dollar for it.“

“My first time at this place at the Atlanta airport to which I’m a frequent flyer. The drinks, service and atmosphere were top notch! Tai in particular always made sure my drinks were good and full, my food was hot and even went as far as helping me create a drink that I LOVED! She was beyond amazing and was beyond the expectations that you would think you would get at an airport bar or restaurant. She was always checking on me making sure my water was cold and full!! “The experience was more than I expected. My daughter whose in the Navy and stationed oversees came to visit but was leaving on Saturday so I wanted to spend a Friday night with her before she left. Well I was very pleased with the food and the atmosphere. Initially when we arrived I was ready to go to another spot due to it was dead but little did I know we were early. I tried the salmon grill mix my friend ordered—so good. My other friend loved her burger and the sweet potato fries. But my fav which I’m glad I ordered was the salmon Philly!“

“We just got beers while at the airport in Atlanta - other than being philthy expensive they were cold and served with a smile. It took longer to pay the bill than drink the beer - but we had a 4 hour layover that turned into a 6 hour layover - so no biggie.“

“Next level show by the queens. Aspen, Aqua and the rest of the cast were hilarious, talented and just outstanding all around performers. The queens here work the room, one of the best shows I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot of drag shows. Bartenders and music were on point. Love this venue. 10/10“
