DJ’s CARIBBEAN KITCHEN Reviews
We came twice in one day! Probably the best doubles I've ever had in my life!
Delicious home cooking style restaurant !! Friendly and clean.
First time here. Older guy moves too fast. Wasn’t done ordering before he decides to walk off to make the first plate mentioned. As he proceeds to walk to food, hubby requests a sample of Mac & cheese. Although I ordered it on my plate, he didn’t bring him the sample until after my plate was made. DJ's Caribbean Kitchen offers a variety of Caribbean dishes, including delicious jerk chicken, excellent peas and rice, and mouth-watering plantains. The food is fresh and served hot, and the staff are helpful and polite, making it a place worth visiting. The restaurant provides surprisingly good food, with some fusion options like southern-style dishes, adding to its unique character. Standout dishes include jerk chicken and cabbage, and the menu features a range of flavorful options.
Customers appreciate the well-prepared meals, with some noting the restaurant could improve by offering more menu items and creating a more welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is situated at the end of a plaza, which can look somewhat gloomy, but parking is free.
Overall, DJ's Caribbean Kitchen is a good spot for tasty Caribbean food with friendly service. Customers have praised the oxtail, jerk chicken, and other proteins, as well as the delicious sides and desserts. The chef, Joel, is described as professional and nice, and the staff is very friendly.
