We’ve eaten at El Jalapeño several times, and they have been consistently excellent every visit. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the food comes out hot, and we’ve honestly never had a bad meal.
The salsa is a 10/10! Our family favorites are the Texas Rice with cheese dip, the shrimp taco salad, the chicken burrito bowl, and the tongue tacos with the extra hot sauce from the back of the kitchen if you like some heat.

The camarones de la crema is a must-try, and the quesabirria tacos are a highlight, with juicy beef, flavorful beans, and perfectly fried tortillas. The owner is friendly and accommodating, making everyone feel welcome. The food is extremely fresh, and the cream sauce is a standout.
