Quaint and delicious. The menu is simple and perfect. The food was excellent. The service was impeccable. But it’s the little things - like the grapes with my lunch, the flavored simple syrup for my coffee, the selection of baked goods. This is exactly the eatery that Cornelia needs!
I was exploring the area near my home, and found this local gem by complete accident in the brief span of their opening hours, and what a blessing it was. I never dreamed that only a half mile from my home was a lovingly crafted bakery and gift shop. I ordered a cookie and sandwich and the cookie was the best I've had. Honestly $10 for half a bowl of soup and 2 tiny pieces of bread is insane... I got a small box of pastries, a pound cake, and two soups for $60. If the soup would have been a little more robust I would have enjoyed it but it very much lacked in substance I understand it's artisenal therefore more expansive but that price is very steep for the amount. It was very good but I don't think it was $60 good.
