My wife and I moved here in late February early March 2025. The Public House was the closest restaurant to where we moved, and when we didn’t have appliances, we started eating there almost every night. The staff is beyond wonderful. From Rob, the bartender who is enormously experienced and just a super guy, to Olivia and Abe and Alicia and Jade and Ryan and God knows we all love CJ the chef and Bobby, the dessert lady. Had the BEST lunch today at Public House! Our table had the shrimp and grits, smash burger, wings and the fries are the best in town all 4 of us agreed. 10/10 and great service.
We were staying the weekend and simply googled brunch. What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be. I had the steak and eggs, my wife had the shrimp and grits and everything was really great.
The service was prompt and responsive. Everything done with a smile.
This food is clearly made with care.
Wonderful flavors and presentation. Definitely stop in when able in the area.
