Starbucks in Dawsonville

“I mean, it's STARBUCKS !
Why would I waste my time rating an icon like this? For service, for coffee, they're obviously 5 stars, and I love them all dearly. However, you know those lucious looking slices of lemon cake with that beautiful sugar icing flowing over the top? If you're like me, I've been eyeballing those for years, but for whatever reason, I hadn't ever taken the plunge .... until this week.
If you are waiting for me to tell you how amazingly sweet, soft, moist, melt-in-your mouth, and unreplaceably delicious it was... well... I really wish I could.
It wasn't stale, per-se, at least I don't think so, but it certainly wasn't moist.
It was lemon---ish. I'm pretty sure I tasted some.
The icing was .... white. That's about it.
Don't get me wrong - I was hungry, I ate it. I'm not THAT much of a snob. However, I AM, without a doubt, a Sweet Snob. I'm actually in the top 5% of Sweet Snobs worldwide. I know of what I speak.
Anyway, this was worth my time only if I can save a fellow Snob from spending a fat pocket full of greenbacks for a less than satisfying treat.
Just get two coffees.

“This STARBUCKS!!! Always gets my drink right! I refuse to go to another Starbucks bc they have all gotten lazy making my favorite drink (Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso). Thank you for always being awesome! Being so kind to my daughter and I and replacing my drink when I spilled it all over the ground This is my go to Starbucks for over a year now and id rather park and go in with my toddler then deal w a drive-thru Starbucks that gets my drink wrong 90% of the time even after "remaking" it.“
