Nah. This might be the BEST Soul Food I had in ATL. The Mac and Cheese was what it was supposed to be! Amaze! And the Collards, I don’t know what they put in it but baby! When I tell you I always add hot sauce to my greens no matter what and almost went back in to ask for some… then I tasted it and it was so full of flavor (not spice) that I didn’t even need the hot or want to mess up what it was already givin’!

So Halal is everything soul food is supposed to be comforting, flavorful, and made with love. From the moment I opened my box, I could tell the food was cooked with intention. The mac and cheese was perfectly creamy, the yams were sweet and buttery, and the collard greens tasted like somebody’s auntie was in the back making sure they came out right.
