“I wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it fell a bit short for me. While the service was exceptional, truly a 6 out of 5, with the young gentleman at the front being welcoming and the older gentleman in the back incredibly kind and polite, the pricing felt steep compared to similar options in the area.

For example, an 8-piece family fried chicken is priced at $30, and a 2-piece order costs $10, which is nearly double the cost of other halal spots nearby. Do note the chicken is of very good quality. Hormone free, vegetable fed and no antibiotics administered. During my visit, I ordered an 8-piece wings with fries. While the food was good, the dim lighting inside made the atmosphere feel a bit gloomy, and at first glance, I even thought the place might be closed.

That said, I really appreciate the effort and hospitality of the staff. If they were to adjust the pricing a little bit and perhaps brighten up the space, this spot has great potential to become a local favorite.

Not only does the food taste delicious, it’s also soul-nourishing in the way that a loving home-cooked meal is. Walking into Ibu’s kitchen is like walking into a beloved family member’s home who has invited you for dinner. The owners are so kind and more than happy to curate a suggested order for you if you don’t even know where to start. Ibu’s is a must, especially if you’re looking for halal food!!! “We got the dinner for 2 and WOW at the amount of food we got. The service was absolutely phenomenal and very thoughtful. When we asked for to go boxes our server thought out what we had left and selected perfect containers for everything. We enjoy hot food, we got the hot level of spice and it was perfect. I would not have gone hotter. Even the water was good! We will 100% be back. Unfortunately it is not letting me add the pictures, but HIGHLY recommend.“

She looked everywhere and checked with everyone to make sure the trays all left and even then started preparing another tray just in case. She could've easily said we sent it all and we're busy now. I was a little indifferent on the way you order, but it’s fine! Easy, and you get an idea of what your order entails when they list the ingredients. This location, in Sandy Springs, shares the same space with a brewery. My lunch order consisted of a hot chicken sandwich and Brussels sprouts. The chicken sandwich I ordered is on the hot level, but for 1.00 more it could be the hottest, which is Reaper. Scary. The Brussels sprouts are roasted with honey and BALSAMIC. YUM. After you order, watch some hard-working men play beer pong and sip a holiday cocktail (or beer) from the brewery!“

“This place is such a hidden gem. If you like Indian food, you will like Bangladeshi food. They have their differences, but are quite similar. The food is incredible. The naan is fantastic. The tikka moshola is the most delicious curry I have ever tasted. Their mango lassi's are creamy and delicious. It's all great. The staff is also extremely friendly. “Nah. This might be the BEST Soul Food I had in ATL. The Mac and Cheese was what it was supposed to be! Amaze! And the Collards, I don’t know what they put in it but baby! When I tell you I always add hot sauce to my greens no matter what and almost went back in to ask for some… then I tasted it and it was so full of flavor (not spice) that I didn’t even need the hot or want to mess up what it was already givin’!

“How have I not known about this place before?!?!? It is literally a block from our home. The restaurant is at the back right of the market (a great place to find hard-to-find foods).

I got a shawarma to go, which was delicious. They fixed it in no time at all, and the price was very wallet-friendly. It came with a small plastic container of a red sauce on the side. Spicy, but not too spicy for me.

A great experience and a real value. Will return to try out the rest of the menu.“
