LanZhou Ramen was an excellent dining experience overall, and even with a few areas that could be improved, I still think it deserves 5 out of 5 stars. The food was flavorful, comforting, and satisfying, and the restaurant delivered the kind of meal that feels both authentic and memorable. It is the type of place that may not be perfect in every small detail, but the strengths are strong enough that the overall experience still stands out.

The best part of the meal was definitely the noodles. They had a great texture: chewy, fresh, and satisfying without being too soft or overcooked. A good bowl of Lanzhou-style noodles depends heavily on the noodle quality, and this restaurant did a very good job with that. The noodles had enough firmness and elasticity to make each bite enjoyable, and they paired well with the broth and toppings.

The broth was also very enjoyable. It had a clean, savory flavor that was warm and comforting. It was not overly heavy, which I appreciated, but I do think it could have used a little more depth and complexity. A slightly richer broth or stronger seasoning would have made it even better. That being said, the flavor was still very good, and it worked well with the noodles. It felt like a bowl of food that was simple in a good way, but still carefully prepared.

The meat and toppings were solid as well. The beef was flavorful and helped complete the dish, although I would have liked a slightly more generous portion. The vegetables and garnishes added freshness, and everything came together nicely. Nothing felt out of place, but a few small improvements in portion size or presentation could make the bowl even more impressive.

The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. It is not necessarily a fancy restaurant, but it does not need to be. The focus is clearly on the food, and that is where LanZhou Ramen succeeds. The service was efficient and polite, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The experience felt straightforward, relaxed, and easy to enjoy.

My main criticisms are minor but worth mentioning. The broth could have been slightly more layered, the meat portion could have been more generous, and the overall presentation could be a little more polished. However, none of these issues took away from the fact that the meal was genuinely enjoyable. In many ways, the simplicity of the food is part of its appeal.

Overall, LanZhou Ramen is a place I would gladly recommend. The noodles were excellent, the broth was comforting, the food felt fresh, and the meal was satisfying from beginning to end. Even though there are small areas for improvement, the overall quality and enjoyment of the experience easily justify a 5-star rating.

“Went to this place in Doraville, GA called Yebisuya where I had Omurice for the first time along with a Yebisuya Bun that I also got and tried for the first time. Omurice: although this wasn't the Omurice I was expecting this was definitely still a very delicious version. Underneath is a bed of fried rice that was just so good with an omelet layered on top of it. They give you 3 sauce choices Spicy Kewpie Mayo, Ketchup, and Tonkatsu sauce. I chose the spicy mayo which by the way wasn't spicy at all I could have ate a ton of that stuff with no problem and those that know me know I don't handle spice well lol. Yebisuya Bun: is basically a steamed bun with chicory, scallion, and I got it with Tonkatsu pork in it and yall when I tell yall I could have ate 10 of these bad boys. The bun was so soft and the filling was sooooo flavorful like you just have to try it. “This place is a great spot for multiple occassions. I sat in the honeycomb pod with a friend of mine on a Wednesday evening and the place was not packed at all. We both ordered the beef ramen, and shared popcorn chicken, purple sweet potato fries and dumplings *chefs kiss*. Everything was delicious and the drinks were just right, I had Tarro and my friend got a grapefruit drink happy to know there was no dairy. I will definitely come back to this location. I must add that the food was served promptly. We barely started with the appetizers before our meal came.“

“For mall food this was good! We tried all the samples at the various places and decided Poke N Ramen was the most solid option that actually had some flavor to their food. Everything else tasted generic but they actually had a little flavor to their food!“

“We typically get takeout from Budi’s Sushi a couple of times per month. The food is always so fresh and tasty. We are lucky that it’s walking distance so we’ll walk over with the dogs and one of us will sit outside with them while the other orders, and they always give us water for the Dogs. Everything from their soups, and appetizers to the rolls are worth trying. We typically wind up with enough left over to have a snack the next day too!“

“I have been here many time and all the ramen here are still amazing with all the broths. We ordered Blaze ramen with extra spicy, grilled pork gyoza, Truffle ramen, broccolini for a side and vegetarian ramen. They were all amazing!!! Just only one thing that has been an issue for me is tables and floor are so sticky. It could be more clean. Anyway, overall, dinning ramen here still amazing.“

“A small self-service restaurant with great, authentic gukbap! Busan is famous for its gukbap, and this restaurant attempts to emulate that taste. I found the mixed pork soup quite delicious and comforting. It had a deep, rich broth that was so creamy. There was a good amount of sliced meat, too. The kimchi and radish tasted fresh and went wonderfully with the milky broth and rice. A simple meal that never disappoints!“

“This place has always had great snacks and drinks at reasonable pricing! I especially love their two fruit smoothies. They've recently renovated, and it is SO BEAUTIFUL in here!! No more Korean BBQ in the back, but they've absolutely compensated for it.“

“Stopped by Momo Cafe inside Momonoki on my way to work. It had been a few years since my last visit, but I was blown away by the creative latte and pastry options available.

I love fun iced lattes and the Apple Pie latte was no exception. And the crème brûlée croissant? Took me right back to some of the pastries I had in Osaka!

The coffee and treats may not be the cheapest in the area, but they are high quality. The crème brûlée croissant was almost big enough to share, filled with cream and topped with torched custard. Perfection.

“The food was so good that I honestly forgot to take pictures until we were basically done eating 😂 That alone should tell you how much we enjoyed everything.

The tempura was super crispy on the outside and light, not greasy at all. You can really tell the ingredients were fresh, and the dipping sauces paired perfectly with everything. The other dishes we ordered were also well seasoned and really balanced. Nothing felt too heavy, and everything tasted clean and flavorful.

The restaurant itself had a nice, comfortable vibe, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. The food also came out at a good pace, so we didn’t feel rushed or stuck waiting around.

I actually wanted to take nice photos before eating, but once we started, we just couldn’t stop. By the time I remembered, most of the plates were already empty. Definitely a good sign!

I would 100% come back and would love to try more items next time. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and a chill dining experience.“
