Sumo Hibachi & Wings Downtown Duluth is a really great new restaurant offering a great selection of food with exceptional and excellent quality. The owners care about the quality and make customers feel welcomed with friendly, quick, and pleasant service that is 10/10. The establishment is clean.
The menu features many fun wing flavors, including highly recommended honey hot garlic wings, hot garlic wings, mango habañero wings, hot BBQ wings, and lemon pepper wings, often called the best ever. The catfish fillet is also noted as the best ever, very crispy. Hibachi options are delicious, such as the House Hibachi, salmon and chicken hibachi, and chicken and shrimp hibachi, served with a nice teriyaki glaze and plenty of veggies. The fried rice is flavorful, savory, and buttery with lots of veggie and egg. Other items include chicken tenders, dumplings, fries, a chicken gyro combo, and a peach drink.
Located off busy streets near the District at Duluth Apartments, it offers free two-hour parking. The overall experience is top notch, a new favorite that is highly recommended.
