“Visited Atlanta this weekend, and I visited this restaurant after a friend recommending it to me after watching the Food truck show on Food Network. The restaurant was very beautifully decorated but the highlight was the food. Their biscuits are unique and delicious. You can tell they are fresh. All of the people at our table had wonderful meals and everything was so amazing. I have their take on biscuits and gravy. It was biscuit, gravy and a friend chicken thigh. The thigh was crispy, not overly breaded and not grease in sight. The gravy was to die for. I would have licked the plate if I could. Another great addition was our waiter Jaida. She was sweet, kind and attentive. She killed it on a sometimes rather difficult crew! Would definitely come again if I’m ever in the area and hope more people find out about this gem of a place!“

“Amazing customer service. A variety of items on the menu. I had the catfish and grits. Fish seasoned well and fried hard like I like it. Grits were very creamy and thick and seasoned to perfection. Definitely will return. Also tried the sweet potato pancake and it was delicious.“

“Peaches and her cook were awesome. The 2pm to 9pm staff were great. They even remade my cheese grits to make them fresh and hot vs. cold and lumpy. To top it things off and for the win they actually had chocolate milk! ? S/N - So many locations do not have chocolate milk.
Kid-friendliness: It the Waffle House! They are always kid friendly. ?
Wheelchair accessibility: It the Waffle House! They are always wheelchair accessible for entry, exit, and low counter top seating. ?“

“DELICIOUS!! When you order grits in a restaurant and they come out delicious—needing no salt, butter, or pepper—you know it’s a good place to eat!! All of our food was delicious. And the staff was sooo friendly! I wish I had taken a picture of our food but we scarfed it down! Definitely will eat here again!“

“Let's just say they asked us to give them a 5 star rating and if we do we get 5 percent off... But the food was warm, the food was over priced, the server tried to charge us for items we didn't receive and my daughter got potatoes with her order . My daughter told the server she wanted onions and pepper . She brings out the potatoes with no opinions or pepper. Then she proceeded to lie in my daughter's face and say they're in there. She said where??? Then she leaves and goes back and says we're out of them. But you just lied and said they're in my daughter's potatoes when clearly there wasn't any on them.. I can go on and on with the issues me and my daughter had there. And the manager didn't come over and say anything.... Mannn I be trying to support my black own business but mannnn have to be and do better ....“

“Came in for a late breakfast and left full, happy, and with a great local rec for a Halloween parade. Folk Art keeps things simple and satisfying, with food that’s rich and filling without trying too hard.
I ordered the chorizo omelette and cheese grits. The omelette was solid—loaded with just the right amount of heat and not greasy. The grits were creamy and held their texture, not runny or bland like you sometimes get with sides.
What stood out just as much as the food was the service. Our server was quick, easy to talk to, and genuinely helpful. When we asked about local events, they casually mentioned the Halloween parade and gave us a heads up on timing and crowd size. That kind of local touch makes a spot feel like part of the neighborhood, not just another brunch stop.
The space has that lived-in charm—busy but not chaotic, and everyone around seemed to be enjoying their food. No long wait, which was a nice surprise on a weekend.
If you’re in the area and want a strong brunch option with real hospitality and comfort food that holds up, Folk Art delivers.“

“I had a wonderful brunch at this location. Not only was the food delicious and served up in a timely manner but the service was impeccable. My waitress was attentive and polite and the general manager even stopped by to make sure that everything was going well. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. I ordered pancakes and a delicious green juice. My server was very attentive to my allergies and allowed me to make substitutions in my meal to accommodate my nut allergy. This is a must stop brunch spot when you were in Atlanta.“

“A hidden gem you do not want to miss—JUST GO! You will not be disappointed. After reading about the opening of Folk Art in Hapeville, GA, and carefully studying their menu from my hometown in Savannah, I knew I had no choice but to make the trip. And let me tell you—it was worth every mile of that four-hour drive. I’d happily do it again just to eat here. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed into a warm, inviting space filled with love, laughter, and the mouthwatering aroma of incredible food. The atmosphere strikes a rare balance—elevated like fine dining, yet comforting like a small-town kitchen. I don’t know how they pulled it off, but they did. Every member of the team was not only professional but made you feel like part of the family. And the food… oh my God, the food! The menu is a stunning blend of elevated Southern comfort and inventive American classics. Each dish is perfectly executed, the portions are generous, and most importantly—everything is absolutely delicious. Don’t forget about the bar—their expertly crafted cocktails are absolutely on point, especially on a warm summer day! Folk Art Hapeville also hosts public events like live music and after-hours Drag Bingo. Finally, a place that truly has it all—and makes everyone feel welcome. There really are no words to capture how special this place is. Hapeville is lucky to have it, and I sincerely hope they bring another location to Savannah!“

“We had family in town, staying around the block. This was a PERFECT CHOICE. We all loved it. Expansive menu, great, attentive waiters. They got everything right, hot, perfect. All bakery items are made fresh in-house daily. We waited a few minutes for our table. Perfect time to enjoy the sight of everything from luscious cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, black & whites, cookies. I love coming here. So glad to see they've restored table service (modified because of the pandemic). Even the Breakfast sandwich was a step up, built with your choices (mine was crisp bacon, gouda cheese, eggs, on fab made-there biscuit)“

“Fried fish was the bomb. The loaded omelette that came with shrimp, chicken, bacon and sausage was delicious. Operationally there could be some improvements. I don’t think the kitchen has the right kitchen fan to circumvent the smoke. The door was open to let some of the smoke out and it was cold that day. The server was sweet and attentive but she we had to get our order corrected twice. My grits were cold and my fish was room temp but it was still good. The beignets were so good but only came with 3 in one order. Overall I will be back, the food was good, service good and the prices were amazing.“

“The energy in here is top tier…the staff sang for my daughter’s birthday and played music while dancing. I thought this was so dope. Thanks Bigg Patt definitely for starting it off and keeping that positive energy while working in a very busy environment. Thanks also to our waitress Toreanna for her great service. It’s not close to my house but I found my home Waffle House when I got the taste for it 😂“

“I have only eaten breakfast here, but it is always good and inexpensive. This more of a grab your food to go spot. Get the breakfast potatoes and the fried green tomatoes. The country steak is extra crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.“

“Well pretty much every waffle House you go to is the same this one has to be called out for the exceptional customer service of the person who was taking care of the to-go orders. Taryn was so pleasant so engaging and made sure that I had everything I needed for my order and double-checked it her smile and attitude made my day.“

“Food was great and the cooks were 👍 great but the young waiter seemed very distracted and I had to flag him down 2 times about water and my bill. But he was nice ,just needs to work on his awareness, I still tipped him ,but not as much as I wanted too.“
“Ms. D is a godsend in the Atlanta community, specifically the Historic West End. Follow them on IG and fb for updates on live music. They cater, and rent their dining room for special events. They're also an in-restaurant full service dining room. Ate there today for brunch at about 11am, and my friend had the burrito with vegan sausage and vegan cheese replacement and devoured it. The fresh fruit bowl she got with it was so ripe and perfect! I ordered shrimp quesadillas, which were remarkable, with a yummy, very fresh and crisp green salad. They had ginger tea, caffeinated and decaf coffee. Service was excellent. They've partnered with the city of Atlanta to hire teen waitstaff throughout the summer for fair pay. Nothing is more wholesome, mom and pop, and worthy of support and celebration than a true community based business! I will always support this eatery!“

“First time coming to this pic. On Fly High Thursday, my family and I took advantage of The Flying Biscuit Café’s $5 High Flyer Breakfast deal, and it did not disappoint! Here’s what we thought of each dish.
The Eggs: I had my eggs over hard, and they were cooked perfectly without being dry. My husband went with eggs over easy, and the yolks were delightfully runny, exactly how he likes them. Our son had scrambled eggs, which were fluffy.
Sausage or Bacon: My husband and I both opted for the chicken sausage patties, which were juicy with a nice, savory flavor. My son chose bacon, and it was crispy and perfectly cooked, adding a nice crunch to his plate.
Grits: The creamy dreamy grits were the star of the plate for all of us. Smooth, rich, and buttery, they lived up to the "dreamy" name, complementing the rest of the meal beautifully.
Biscuit: The biscuits were light, fluffy, and warm, with a golden crust that practically crumbled when spread with butter. Whether with jam or plain, they were a delicious addition to the breakfast.
Waffle or Pancake: My husband had the Belgian waffle, which was crisp on the outside and soft inside—just sweet enough without being too much. My son and I both chose the buttermilk pancakes, which were thick, fluffy, and soaked up syrup wonderfully.“

“This is an older IHOP style layout that shows wear, however it is clean and well run.
I’ve been here a few times this year. Food is perfect. Served promptly. Served with a smile. Team members take pride in their presentation.
I’ve been going to IHOP for about 50 years and this is a very similar looking field to the very first one I ever went to. It is very heartwarming to eat at this older location. The only things that will never be the same are that mom and dad won’t be here to dine with me anymore, but at least it brings back good memories.“

This Mableton location has become one of my favorite places to eat. Great food, amazing service, and a warm atmosphere – I always leave happy and can’t wait to come back!“

“Okay nothing amazing about this place literally, well the pumpkin pancakes are good. But everything else was okay or not seasoned at all.
My husband enjoy his turkey sandwich and potatoes. I did not enjoy the potatoes. My chicken sausage was not good and my egg frittata was not season well. It was just okay. I wouldn't go back!“
