“DELICIOUS!! When you order grits in a restaurant and they come out delicious—needing no salt, butter, or pepper—you know it’s a good place to eat!! All of our food was delicious. “My husband and I had the best experience at this restaurant today. After a long drive and busy morning we enjoyed the best service from Cameron . Our omelettes and pancakes were delicious. It was nice to be in a relaxed atmosphere eating fresh food and having an attentive server with a great personality taking care of us . The mimosa flight was great ! I would recommend this restaurant and this server for a good breakfast or lunch ! Thanks Cameron for a great lunch ! We will be back in town soon to see you ! 5 stars 🤩“

“*Photos coming soon* This was the best breakfast experience I have had in years! Let me be clear, i live for breakfast food and will seek it out at any meal of the day if the fancy strikes me. It was very busy being a Sunday in the late morning but our wait was short and ended up with seats at the bar. This turned out to be fantastic because the staff behind the counter/bar were great. To top it off the food was exceptional!
The food was fresh made to order and I have nothing but praise for it. The timeliness coming from the kitchen was on point. And to their credit, we ordered a lot of food for just two people. We made this an event and it was worth it. Bacon, pork belly, pancakes, stuffed French toast, eggs benedict, and some excellent beverages made for a great meal and tons of leftovers. Nothing was basic and each item had a unique and exceptionally complimenting twist to your basic idea of these staple breakfast dishes.
Service with a smile. The staff all had great attitudes even when the place was packed and nearing midday.
It seemed like the perfect balance of chaos and coordination inside. The only thing that looked remotely out of place was the congestion at the door where groups were waiting for tables to become available. I will note that people unwilling to sit at the counter as spots became available did wait for quite a while. We were leaving when a couple that was waiting before we even arrived was just being seated. Like I said, busy.
To wrap this place up, 10/10 highly recommend. If its a short drive for you then make it a point to try this place if you haven't. If it hours away? Plan accordingly to beat the rush. I promise you will not be dissapointed.“

“Second time here and both times the experience has been great! The food is impeccable and I absolutely LOVE the music selection and the VOLUME. We can actually have a full conversation without music blaring in the background so kudos to you guys for that nice touch! The customer service has always been warm and I love that! I recommend everything listed because me, my mom and sister have tired the fish and grits, salmon and sausage (pork and chicken) biscuits, pancakes and waffles, fried chicken, pork chops and etc. Please don’t just take my word for it, go try it for yourself. “I came for my first time during the Forest Park fire and emergency service meet the chief event. Even though there was a lot of people it was still an amazing atmosphere the food was amazing I got my food in a timely matter. And when I tell you this food is delicious,... I mean it! I ordered the Salmon Croquette Platter with Pancakes. This place isn't like other breakfast spots where your pancakes are 1 inch rounds. They give you REAL and FLUFFY pancakes. I got 2 salmon croquettes and breakfast potatoes. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS. This is truly a hidden gem of a breakfast spot in Forest Park that you HAVE to try!!!“

“I was here because so many of the local waffle houses have started pick up food at the window. This was a old-fashioned waffle House where you sat down and your food and enjoyed your breakfast. It was 5:00 a.m. and I was just getting off Uber. I wanted to have some breakfast before going home. I was very happy to find this place. I intend to boycott any waffle House that doesn't allow you to come in 24 hours a day 7 days a week. That's the waffle House I know.“

“Fast, cheap and tasty. A classic meat-and-three southern diner. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Excellent value for the price; you can get a square meal with a protein and lots of veggies for like $10. For maximum ambience, eat your food there and watch some Judge Judy.“

“This was my first time trying First Watch and it was pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon (to be expected). We were advised the wait would be around 30 to 40 minutes, but sat down inside and only waited about 5 to 10 minutes before we were called to be seated.
Pictured below is the Bacado omelette with cheese grits and the Tri-fecta with cinnamon chip pancake and scrambled eggs.
We were not expecting for the pancake to be so big, but everything was delicious.
Highly worth a try if you've never been.“
