“Had to go back and grab four more to bring home.
If you’re anywhere near East Atlanta, this taco truck parked in a gas station lot is an absolute must-stop. It’s got that low-key, hidden-gem vibe — but the flavor is next level.
They’re still rocking early 2000s pricing: 4 tacos for just $10. You really can’t beat that.
I ordered two steak, one chicken, and one shrimp… and the steak was so good I had to go back for four more. Juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked just right. The soft tacos have this incredible cheese-crusted backing that gives you a slight crisp on the outside while the inside stays warm and soft — perfect texture in every bite.
All the toppings are freshly cut and taste like it. Nothing soggy, nothing bland — just clean, fresh flavor all the way through.
If you’re looking for a different twist on tacos and a quick meal that actually hits, this food truck is a winner. Don’t sleep on it.“
“Great food! I’ve had it 4 times and posted about the Trap Museum $2 Taco Tuesday. Awesome specials and left a comment about these being some of the best tacos.. they truly are. But who ever is running the Instagram, wow! I was blocked after leaving a compliment, and planned to order today! 😂 Still great food, just need some customer service training Lbvs“

“This place was delicious. Customer service was good. Food came out in a timely manner. It had a drive-thru or little walk up. It has seats outside the carne asada supreme tacos were amazing. I also got the lingua and it was good. I will definitely be stopping back by when I'm in the area reasonably priced.“
“I’ve seen this little food truck a couple dozen times at the corner of Brown Mill Road & North Central Road (Crowne Road SE) just off I-75. There’s always people in line but I just haven’t stopped because I’m very particular about Mexican food.
There is a real good selection to choose from and I almost bought three more tacos, a bowl, and 10 wings, however I decided instead of trying the menu all at once that I’d start small.
Ordered a fish taco on a flour tortilla with no cilantro, a steak taco with no cilantro and sour cream and an order of Mexican Street corn.
The fish taco was cooked to absolute perfection. It was seasoned and flavored nicely without being overly spicy. My only criticism would be amount of onions was a little excessive. After the first bite I took off half the remaining onions. I put a little of the sour cream on it and squeezed a wedge of lime, and it was extremely good.
The steak taco was also something I enjoyed very much. The meat was flavored without being spicy, tender and the sour cream with the cucumber slices and a little lime reminded me of mini-gyro, minus the tomato.
I watched her cut the Mexican Street corn off the cob and I used a wedge of lime on it. Other than needing just a little bit of salt it was very good.
The way my jobs run I know that I’ll be back in this neighborhood again And if they are here I think I’m going to try a chicken taco and a bowl as well as an Agua Fresca.“

“I'm giving 5 stars, but this review NEEDS to be read. As a vegetarian, I LOVE Holy Taco. They are one of the only restaurants in EAV that offer more than a few vegetarian/vegan friendly options that are actually super good. With that being said, my meat eater friends...well, there's much to be desired. My friend ordered the steak taco the other day and the steak that came on the taco looked like ground beef. It was gray looking and not appetizing. 1 out of 5. And for the LOVE of anything holy, PLEASE change your SALSA DIP. It always tastes like cold chunky tomato soup that lacks real seasoning and depth. Yuck. If Holy Taco could try harder at the salsa being the restaurant that it is, AND put more love into the meat options, I'm sure more people will frequent there. It's always so sad to go there and there's not a lot of people there. With that being said, I will always go back for the vegan chorizo taco and vegan drummies (even though $17 for vegan drumsticks is pretty dang pricey, so I don't get them every time). The drinks are always good and servers are always good, though they seem to have a quick turnover with servers. Again, I will say, I LOVE going there just for the vegan options, but I ALWAYS have to convince my friends to give it one more shot. Each time, they are sadly disappointed, mainly due to the salsa and taste of some meat options.
Holy Taco, please change your salsa recipe and put more love into some of the meat options for the meat eaters. Much love“

“real food, plenty serving, great customer service, affordable..
This place is a hidden gem for authentic Mexican food, especially tacos. I always forget to take pictures of the tacos, but they’re so delicious that I can’t resist.
Serving is always plenty.
The tortillas here are incredibly sturdy and never break easily, which is a huge plus for me. I’ve been to other taco places in Morrow, but none of them have tortillas that can withstand a bite. You know a mess after first bite won’t make you happy.
They offer a wide variety of fillings but straightforward for tacos. beef tripe, steak, and beef tongue are the best.
If you want some mole, they have it every Wednesday. But call in to make sure they have it.
They also have a kitchen and plenty of outdoor seating every weekend. The corn cheese is a must-try, but it’s only available on the weekends. I think it’s a secret menu, but hey, who knows?
The owner is incredibly helpful and friendly. She’s always around to help us out, which is really appreciated.
One thing I’ve noticed is that the tacos sauces aren’t always as hot as I like them. But the owner takes it seriously and makes sure to make them extra hot the next day. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference.
I noticed there was an old gentleman working in the back. He was very happy when he saw us enjoying tacos he made. Love this place 🎉“

“We were a party of 8. The food was delicious. We all ordered something different and everyone was happy. Fresh made chips were amazing. The best part was our server Chris. He was accommodating and made our evening very special. I have never written a review before but thought so highly of the hospitality that I had too.“

“I’m so impressed by this place I have to leave a review. As a native from LA, where we have the most authentic delicious Mexican food, this place ABSOLUTELY CHECKS THE BOX.
The carne asada tacos were my favorite. Even the tortillas have flavor. We got chicken, asada, al pastor torta and they were all so good. But the asada will make you place a second order. I’m pregnant and this made my day lol. The Cashier/ Server a young man was also so cool/ bilingual, patient definitely topped it off to a great experience. 10/10“
“I’m not gon líe, the only reason they have this is so I can say they no longer sale popusas. I went thinking they had them cuz they show that they sell them here. And the lady at the front told me they stopped selling them.
I’m not finna give a fake review, I didn’t try their food but their Mexican coke and jarritos did taste very shaken before opened. I drank one there as soon as she handed it to me and one at home. So I could’ve been sharing the second one but the Mexican coke was not me. Anyways not a bad lil spot honestly they seem pretty good other than that.“

“I will patronize this “Black owned business” any day. Great customer service from Meca and the owner Frank; and I’m BIG on customer service. How they treated me tonight, meant a lot to me….especially in world where it seems like how you people doesn’t matter anymore. I wish you all much success and I pray your business thrives. May God’s hands be upon all that you do. Much love!!“

“Glad I didn’t check the reviews before going here!?
People are mean or most of the 1-star reviews are from fake accounts maybe.
I can’t speak Spanish buy the people behind the counter were overly helpful and friendly with us.
The tacos had very good flavor. Not the best I have ever had but still very tasty. The pork was a little dry but at least there was not any fat or gristle and wasn’t chewy which I don’t like and can’t eat meat like that so it was a very good overall experience.“

“I’ve been coming to Don Chon for over a year and I love this place! Really delicious al pastor taco, carne asada, enchiladas verdes, and house-made salsa. In full transparency the ventilation isn’t great, so if you dine in you’ll leave smelling like food. Totally worth it though.“

“I just wanted to say thank you to the owner or the waitress who answered the door and gave me my food.
On Saturday 1/24/26 I was working overnight on my patrol shift at 1:50 am and decided to come to this restaurant. (Per One of the social media food reviewers)
I forgot the woman name but she came to the door and said they already closed up.
It wasn't an issue because I knew they close at 2am. But the lady offered to make me some tacos after already closed up🙏🏿.
When I say I could smell the food through the container and it was so damn delicious!!! Y'all did y'all thang .
The taco shells was fried crispy and the filling was full of flavor and the toppings were fresh!!
I will be back with my family to order the whole menu👍🏿💪🏿
Thanks again 🇺🇸“
