“It’s rare that I write reviews, but our experience at Borgo absolutely deserves one — and for context, my wife and I are truly food obsessed. We moved here from Austin, TX and northern New Jersey, both places where excellent Italian food is easy to find. In the three years we’ve lived here, we’ve tried at least 15 restaurants in the area, and every single one has been forgettable, I’ll leave it at that. Borgo changed that instantly. From the moment we walked in, I noticed something unusual: the dining room was full, yet the atmosphere was calm, lively but not loud. When we sat down, we found ourselves next to three older couples speaking Italian. That alone told me we might finally be in the right place. A lot of restaurants claim to be “family owned,” but at Borgo, it’s the real thing. The entire family is from Italy. The owner came over to welcome us personally and took our order with genuine warmth. His wife is the chef. His sister was checking on tables and making sure everything ran smoothly. The whole experience felt like stepping into a small trattoria in a small Italian town and I don’t say that lightly. The food was exceptional. We started with the burrata with prosciutto and an arugula salad. Both were exquisite. The burrata tasted incredibly fresh and was served at the perfect temperature I don’t know if it’s homemade, but it certainly tasted like it. The arugula was vibrant and peppery, as if it had just been picked, and the dressing was beautifully balanced. For mains, we had the trout, the linguine with mushrooms, and the eggplant parm. Every dish was outstanding, but the eggplant parm stopped me in my tracks — I literally closed my eyes after the first bite. It was that good. Dessert was tiramisu and the limoncello cheesecake, and both were flawless. Light, flavorful, and not overly sweet, exactly how they should be. And the service? Flawless. Warm, attentive, personal, the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like you’re eating in someone’s home rather than a restaurant. It took us 45 minutes to drive to Borgo and we cannot wait to go back. After three years of searching, we finally found a place that feels like the real deal. Simply put, our experience was exceptional.“

“My family and I came here after seeing my sister getting baptized. We were a party of 8. At first the server peeped around the corner and saw us and rolled her eyes 👀. She seemed to have an attitude (maybe it was time for her to go home 🤷🏾‍♀️). We were seated and that server came with a much more pleasant attitude. She took our order made sure everything was good the food came out in great timing she refilled our drinks and the bread sticks and salads 🥗 . Overall everyone enjoyed their food and the service.

“This was such a great pizza. My family likes the DIY pizzas more than regular ones anyway, but Your Pie Pizza was one of a kind. The service was excellent... Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The wait was short for 4 pizzas and everyone in the family loved them. Highly recommend.“

“I ordered a vegan turkey sub, they ran out of the Turkey, so I went to Kroger and purchased vegan deli slices and let me tell you, THIS WAS STILL THE BEST SUB I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! I told the owner I would do a honest review and yall, im not playing!!!! They are on to something here. Forreal! The sub was amazing. The bread was superb, soft, fluffy and im almost 100% certain that the secret ingredient was luv! I mean, the fact that they ran out of vegan turkey and I am still making a great review......I had to go to the store and buy some turkey to go on this sub and it was still well worth it. I look forward to trying the sub with the vegan turkey but yall, my honest opinion, these folks love what they do and it makes the food impeccable. These are blessed hands cheffing it up back there. “I ordered delivery 12/11/2021 I was told by the manager they were short staffed for deliveries and it would take a while to make my 2 belly busters and cheese sticks for a holiday party. no biggie I understood. pizza showed up on time. we tipped the delivery dude extra because I know what that's like having to rush for deliveries. this was our 7th or 8th time ordering and the quality was amazing as always. very satisfied as a customer. support this shop. worth it every time. can't recommend there pizza enough!“
