From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and genuine smile that set the tone for my first visit. I ordered the 2-piece whiting and fries, and let me tell you from the very first sound of those fresh fries being tossed in the stainless steel bowl by the cook, Louis, I knew my meal was about to HIT! 🔥

The fish came out piping hot, golden brown, and crispy perfection. The batter was light yet flavorful, seasoned just right, and paired beautifully with their homemade tartar sauce the kind you know someone took the time to make with love.

And that strawberry lemonade? Pure nostalgia in a cup! Fresh, sweet, and tangy brought back childhood memories.

“One of our favorite restaurants for the past 4 years. The owners are always on site and oversee all aspects of the service and food presentations. I have tried most on the menu and my absolute favorite is their shrimp piccata. Always amazing. Eric (owner) makes a wonderful cocktail and will pass on tips for better cocktail combinations and wine pairings. The service is always amazing and the warm bread pudding is a nice finish to any meal here. They have great table and/or booth seating inside and a beautiful patio for outdoor seating (weather permitting). Always a treat to walk in and always our intent to return when we walk out.“

“Captain Discord hasn't changed much over the years. That's fine for the food, I always get the meal experience I'm expecting but the decor hasn't changed in ages so the interiors seem stuck in the past and could use a refresh. For take-out, the decor is a non-issue though.“

“I was looking for a seafood restaurant in the local area. I saw that it was Mexican seafood, which is a different take on seafood than I usually eat, but I was happy to give it a try. I ordered the Muchacho Alegre ceviche and was completely amazed. The platter was HUGE and the flavors were DELICIOUS. The waitress was amused by my looks of excitement and satisfaction as I ate. It was almost as if she was enjoying my meal too. I’m a huge foodie and Muchacho Allegre has some of the best food I have ever eaten. I miss living on the coast and Wintzell’s but this restaurant makes living in Fairburn completely doable. Do not miss it. It is situated beside a pretty rundown looking gas station. If you blink, you could miss the opportunity to experience the best food and service of your life. 5 stars!“

“This was my daughter and I second time eating here. Being away from home (New Orleans) we’ve missed out good ole seafood. It’s been really hard finding a place to match our taste buds,lol. But AGAIN! They did NOT fail! The seafood boil is amazing. Lobster tail was a really nice size (unlike other places), and the seasoning was AWESOME. The staff were nice and made sure we were good. “Food is always fresh to order and well seasoned. All the staff are super nice and will answer all questions. Restaurant is always clean and well maintained. There are fresh vegetables you can purchase in large fridges along with drinks, etc. you can also purchase frozen seafood from large freezers they have as well. Upon getting my total… the math wasn’t mathing by an extra $6+. I’ve been coming here for years but recent they now charge a 3% credit card transaction fee. Typically places pass along the cost by adjusting their prices but this, it’s another way to pass along your costs to your customers. This will make be think twice about coming so I’ll be looking for another seafood spot sadly. Just be prepared to pay the transaction fee that was not automatic which can add up on large orders, even small even your hard earned dollars are spent.“

“Overall, we had a good experience. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice. The tacos were good, although a little dry — I felt like they needed an extra sauce or something to make them more flavorful. The green sauce that came with them was a bit too spicy for me.

The platter was also good, but some of the food felt slightly overcooked. The wait for the food was a little longer than expected as well.

On the positive side, the service was very good. Everyone was friendly, responsive, and attentive, and we even received a complimentary taco, which was a really nice gesture.

This place is a hidden gem for authentic Mexican food, especially tacos. I always forget to take pictures of the tacos, but they’re so delicious that I can’t resist.

Serving is always plenty.

The tortillas here are incredibly sturdy and never break easily, which is a huge plus for me. I’ve been to other taco places in Morrow, but none of them have tortillas that can withstand a bite. You know a mess after first bite won’t make you happy.

They offer a wide variety of fillings but straightforward for tacos. beef tripe, steak, and beef tongue are the best.

If you want some mole, they have it every Wednesday. But call in to make sure they have it.

They also have a kitchen and plenty of outdoor seating every weekend. The corn cheese is a must-try, but it’s only available on the weekends. I think it’s a secret menu, but hey, who knows?

The owner is incredibly helpful and friendly. She’s always around to help us out, which is really appreciated.

One thing I’ve noticed is that the tacos sauces aren’t always as hot as I like them. But the owner takes it seriously and makes sure to make them extra hot the next day. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference.
