“I was looking for a seafood restaurant in the local area. I saw that it was Mexican seafood, which is a different take on seafood than I usually eat, but I was happy to give it a try. I ordered the Muchacho Alegre ceviche and was completely amazed. The platter was HUGE and the flavors were DELICIOUS. The waitress was amused by my looks of excitement and satisfaction as I ate. It was almost as if she was enjoying my meal too. I’m a huge foodie and Muchacho Allegre has some of the best food I have ever eaten. I miss living on the coast and Wintzell’s but this restaurant makes living in Fairburn completely doable. Do not miss it. It is situated beside a pretty rundown looking gas station. If you blink, you could miss the opportunity to experience the best food and service of your life. 5 stars!“

“I was in the mood for some Mexican. After a search on Yelp, Los Mariachis was where I decided to go! Upon driving up, I love how Los Mariachis sits in the corner of the lot which makes it easy to locate. As the parking wraps around both sides of the restaurant there are ample parking spots which is an added plus… As I walked in I was instantly greeted by the host. There was a pleasant welcome provided and as I was a party of 2 we were able to be seated instantly. The restaurant was super clean. The tables are well spaced as you don’t feel cramped or too close to your neighbor. Furthermore, the inside is so much bigger than the outside presents. Once seated our waiter came over and was super pleasant. As we started to review the menu we were provided with warm tortilla chips and a red and green salsa. Sidenote, the tortillas were amazing even without the salsa. I decided to order the Steak Fajitas and I am so happy I did. The steak was well seasoned and cooked as I desired. The fixings were super fresh and the Guacamole was awesomeeeeeeeeeeee. The portion was perfect for the price. I def had leftovers which tasted even better the next day for lunch. LoL! Overall, my visit to Los Mariachis was very enjoyable. The food, service, and ambiance were amazing. This is a location I will start to patronize more often. Special Shout Out to my waiter. He was new to Los Mariachis and I was lucky to be one of his first tables. I believe his name was Kareem (forgive my memory if I am mistaken). He was very nice and attentive to our table's needs. “I live in the area and decided to give this place a try with my sister's. First of all, parking is very limited, as it sits in a small plaza just off the highway. Entering, the restaurant is a bit dirty. The doors, floors, table and the areas against the walls and flooring where quite filthy. And the flies, woo. Since they are a Black Owned establishment, we decided to go ahead and try the food. I really wanted to try the Red Snapper, but they were out of it. Bummer. We ordered, got the food home, and the presentation was good. We got a Smothered Chicken plate with Mac n Cheese and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Another one with Cabbage and Mac n Cheese. A Whiting Fish plate with Yams and Mac n Cheese and a Veggie plate of Cabbage, Yams, Green Beans and Mac n Cheese.
The Mac n Cheese was very disappointing. There was no cheese pull, lacked flavor and the cheese was very orange and tasted artificial. The Smothered Chicken over Rice and the Whiting was good. However, the fish could have used a bit more seasoning. The Veggie plate did not come in a plate. Smh. It came in individual side containers. 🙄 The yams where okay, if you like the taste of Karo syrup. The green beans looked sort of old, although on camera they looked very good, go figure. They were also surprisingly very tasty. And last of all, the Garlic Mashed Potatoes were absolutely delicious. Overall we give the food 4 out of 5 stars. This review was done not to hurt this establishment, but to help them see where improvements are needed to better serve the community that supports their business. We need to support our Black Owned businesses and they need to serve us in a higher standard.“

“I ordered the 6 piece family meal. The whiting was fried perfectly. The well seasoned, crispy breading with with the mild, yet tender flavor of the whiting was perfect. The fries were hot and seasoned well and the crispy, tender and sweet hushpuppies round out the plate. Dont mind the missing pieces in my photo. I had to dig in while driving home.

But my garlic bread was very BURNT. So burnt I’m surprised they thought it was fit to serve.The salmon with rice and salad was good! You get a ton of Haitian rice. I never had it before but really enjoyed it. Although the rice had a slightly burnt taste to it. Like the rice itself wasn’t burnt but maybe the bottom of the pot was. But it was still edible and well seasoned but the burnt after taste does linger. Also, they forgot to include my plantains.Lastly, I ordered what was labeled “Haitian Kola” on Uber eats thinking it was some sort of fancy Hatian cultural soda and was really excited to try a new drink but it turned out to be regular old fashioned coke. I was a bit disappointed and had I known it was regular Coke I would not have ordered it.Overall the items that bothered me weren’t enough to write this place off completely. “One of our favorite restaurants for the past 4 years. The owners are always on site and oversee all aspects of the service and food presentations. I have tried most on the menu and my absolute favorite is their shrimp piccata. Always amazing. Eric (owner) makes a wonderful cocktail and will pass on tips for better cocktail combinations and wine pairings. The service is always amazing and the warm bread pudding is a nice finish to any meal here. They have great table and/or booth seating inside and a beautiful patio for outdoor seating (weather permitting). Always a treat to walk in and always our intent to return when we walk out.“

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and genuine smile that set the tone for my first visit. I ordered the 2-piece whiting and fries, and let me tell you from the very first sound of those fresh fries being tossed in the stainless steel bowl by the cook, Louis, I knew my meal was about to HIT! 🔥

The fish came out piping hot, golden brown, and crispy perfection. The batter was light yet flavorful, seasoned just right, and paired beautifully with their homemade tartar sauce the kind you know someone took the time to make with love.

And that strawberry lemonade? Pure nostalgia in a cup! Fresh, sweet, and tangy brought back childhood memories.

“When I tell you that the people at this fish market can cook up some fish to perfection PLEASE BELIEVE IT! It is seasoned well and they cook it fast unless it's peek time on Friday. “Let me let y’all know about this Chinese spot!!! I originally moved here being a native New Yorker and had a taste for some chicken and broccoli. Seemed like the other restaurants wasn’t hitting. I decided to give them a try after being in GA for about 2 months. Everything about them is customer service. Friendly welcomes, patience and most importantly FRESH and HOT food. They honestly are the only ones I go to and been loyal to from the time I moved here back in 2017. Not a buffet not another Chinese restaurant just China One. I have now relocated to another part of GA after living in Clayton county for about two years and I drive to them and spend my money with them faithfully for that taste that I want. If y’all don’t know now y’all know (in the words of Biggie Small) I totally approve and stand behind this restaurant especially if I’m driving 45 to an hour out just to get me my lunch special which if y’all go between the hours of 10-3:30 only available Tuesday thru Friday they offer that same quality food they make on a regular for a very affordable price and they hook the plates up. They know me on a family level! 🤣 When I walk in they know me for the no bamboo shoot and extra sauce on the side. Making me feel good because I am a committed woman.
