Shrimp Over Bored is a restaurant described as phenomenal awesomeness. The shrimp and grits are so delicious, and so many other menu items are so delicious as well. The fish and grits and the shrimp boil are loved. The Grits is the star, and you can create your own bowl. The fried fish is cooked to perfection, and the fried shrimp is good, little heavy on the salt, but the sautéed shrimp is perfect. The sausage is tasty, but it can be removed. The gumbo bowl n grits is also available. The customer service is pretty decent. The grits will make you slap somebody, and the grits re-warm well at home. The best fish/shrimp and grits in the south, hands down. The fish is fried perfectly, and you would think your great grandma is in the kitchen the way the food taste. The shrimp and grits are absolutely delicious, and the portion is incredibly generous, more than one could finish. Shrimp Over Bored does not just serve great food; it converts shrimp-and-grits skeptics, too. The flavor is great, the portions are generous, and there is enough food to win over two new fans. The fish and shrimp are made to order, the grits itself is really good, and the greens are the unsung star. There are sandwiches there also. This spot is located inside a gas station, but do not let that stop you from experiencing some incredible Southern cooking. The aroma alone will pull you right through the door. The menu is small but mighty, with plenty of options and combinations to create the perfect meal. The fish is seasoned to perfection and fried nice and crispy. The grits are thick, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The sautéed shrimp are succulent, flavorful, and cooked just right. Having the fish wrapped separately is recommended to keep it from getting soggy. The service is fast, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely a spot worth checking out.
