Speedi-Pig Barbeque Reviews
Edit 12/30/2023 It’s the end of an era at Speedi Pig BBQ. Today was their last day of operation. Thanks for the years of memories as this was my family’s favorite place to go for bbq. Wishing the staff and the retiring owner good luck in your next adventures!I love coming here. Steak fries and a piglet. $6 plus tip. Can't find a better deal for BBQ anywhere. The folks running the place do an excellent job. It's always fast, and it's always consistent. For the new customers,...read full review
Really good! I had smoked half chicken with baked beans, slaw, toast and a side of stew. Loved the flavor of the chicken skin and those beans were amazing!!!
CASH ONLY. This place is excellent and gets pretty busy any given day they're open. But I will warn you it's cash only though they have an ATM inside, it's one of those little ones that charges 2.50 from them and probably 2.50 from your bank as well however it is an excellent place to eat with great pork. I always get 2 pounds of it to take home. They have great sauces and sides too. Never had a bad meal here.
Speedi-Pig Barbeque, now closed as of December 30, 2023, was a beloved BBQ spot for many. Known for its affordability, a meal typically consisted of steak fries and a "piglet" for only $6, plus tip. The restaurant was famous for its fast and consistent service, with a cash-only policy and an on-site ATM.
The menu offered delicious pork sandwiches, a sweet tea served in a large styrofoam cup, and two types of sauces that, although not spicy, were highly praised for their taste. The pork sandwich, in particular, was known to be quite large and filling.
Despite the area's changes, Speedi-Pig Barbeque remained a popular destination, often getting busy on the days they were open. The establishment offered excellent pork, great sauces, and a variety of sides, with many customers taking home 2 pounds of pork to enjoy later. Though it's no longer open, fond memories of this local favorite will surely live on.
