I didn't like that the chef put his hat down for a tip, which each of my party members paid 5 to 10 dollars each, and we paid the 15% gratuity, which was automatically added to our bill. I think the 15% should not be automatic if we are tipping the chef. We had a waiter and wanted to leave him a tip until we saw the 15% added to our bill.“

“Placed an order for shrimp and broccoli with hunan sauce to go. Returned home to find out they put white sauce on my food and not the hunan. I called the restaurant to inform them. The guy told me "it's your FAULT!" Terrible customer service. The gentleman wasn't interested in helping at all! I will NEVER be going back.“

“I would like to deeply apologize for the previous review regarding Elise. I was with friends at the time, and some things were misrepresented. Elise was not only kind and professional, but she also politely asked us not to place dishes on the counter. She even apologized in case it came across as rude, which my friend and I (who is Asian) were completely fine with.

Unfortunately, one of our friends was in a bad mood, and that affected how the situation was perceived. Elise was genuinely sweet and respectful throughout our visit.

“The beef bulgogi here is hands-down one of the best I’ve had. The meat was super tender and full of flavor, perfectly marinated with just the right balance of sweet and savory. You could really taste the garlic, soy, and sesame in every bite. It had a great grilled char that gave it an extra depth of flavor without being overcooked.

Served with rice and kimchi, the whole dish was incredibly satisfying. Portion size was generous too. If you’re a fan of Korean BBQ or just want to try something amazing, do yourself a favor and order the bulgogi. You won’t regret it.“

“We had lunch with our son at Ichiban's today. We had been here several years ago and enjoyed it then and we enjoyed it this time as well. Son ordered the Shrimp Teriykali Bento Box which came with miso soup, 4 California rolls, a side salad and white rice. He also ordered the Eel avocado cucumber rolls. Hubby ordered the Beef Teriykali Bento Box which came with mushroom soup, 4 california rolls, an egg roll and fried rice. For his drink he ordered a Pomegranate martini. I ordered the 3 sushi roll lunch. I got the Seafood Maki, the White Tuna and scallions, and the Christmas rolls. It came with miso soup and a garden salad. For my drink I ordered the Peach sangria. For dessert, we shared the 15 oversized donut holes with chocolate sauce. Everything was well made and very tasty. Our server was very attentive, checking on us several times.“

The food is amazing, and I love the variety on their menu. They are quick, and their customer service is unmatched! I would recommend this place to those who love great tasting food, a fast and easy pickup for takeout, or even larger group events. “Wasnt expecting such a small place, but those can be some of the best. Got the daily deal of 3 regular rolls (philly, eel-avo, spicy-tuna) for 14.99, and added a seaweed salad. $23 after tax well spent it was perfect for me and mom to share. Really wanted to give a full 5star but the wakame was a little too salty, spicy tuna had no spicy sauce(added sriracha at home), but all the rolls were more than decent. The guy at the register was nice so I asked about tip. There wasn't even a tip option like real japan lol! Not many good sushi options in the area, but this IS one.👍“
